Running 42.2k (or 21.1k) this weekend? Here is how to bounce back strong after the Melbourne Marathon without feeling cooked for a month 👇

1️⃣ First 24 Hours: Rehydrate, refuel with carbs & protein, and take a gentle walk to prevent stiffness.
2️⃣ Prioritise Sleep: Your body does its heaviest repair work while you’re out cold - don’t skip the rest!
3️⃣ Week 1 = Active Recovery: Ditch running for a week. Stick to low-impact cycling, swimming, or walking to keep blood flowing while protecting your joints and tendons.
4️⃣ Ease Back In: When you return to running, keep it short, slow, and leave the ego at the door. No speed work or Strava chasing!

Save this post for post-race day and tag a friend running Melbourne Marathon this weekend! 🏃‍♂️💨

Sleep is where the gains are made. 🫁

Shoutout to @rankofit for putting VAYR to the test. Glad the strips are making a difference where it counts.

One strip. Every part of your day.

A little recap of our incredible Peak Open Day! 🙌🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported us yesterday. The turnout was incredible and it was amazing to see so many familiar faces, current members, past clients, friends, family and plenty of new faces through the doors.

The energy all day was absolutely incredible! From people throwing themselves into the challenges and surviving some brutal leg workouts to the food, prizes, giveaways and everything in between, the atmosphere was next level 🔥

Days like this remind us why we do what we do and what Peak is all about 🤍

Thank you to everyone who attended, our vendors, sponsors and the Peak team who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring it all together.

We're so grateful for the support and excited for what's ahead 🤍🫶

“If you want to go fast go alone. If you want to go far, go together”

I freaking love this sport and the community that surrounds it. To do this load and the discipline it requires you have to absolutely be in love with the journey. That fosters a certain passion that is so contagious, and everyone is always so ready to share their wealths of knowledge and experience.

Community drives us forward. Whether that be a friend to motivate you on a hard day, training with a group of athletes faster than you to build speed, or learning from the experienced. The list goes on, and I think there’s something so special about that <3.

Very grateful 🤍
