I’ve been meaning to share these for a while. Some work feels completely transcendent and reminds me why I do what I do 🤍 My time with @thisisfabchs back in June left me feeling so full.

What @ranwein and her entire team have created is pure MAGIC. Here are some highlights from our first day together.

Watercolored this piece as a commission from @southernsmokefoundation girls & @hurricane_christa for our friend @ranwein @thisisfabchs who has spent her life giving her whole heart to everyone around her.

Truly had no idea this watercolor would capture one of her most treasured memories. Her reaction is a small reminder that there’s soul in every piece made with love. 💛

FAB is magic, but this incredible team is magical. It’s the late nights, the early mornings, the behind-the-scenes hustle (no one loves taking out trash), it’s all the moments that nobody sees but makes every single moment of FAB possible, thank you.

To every single person who showed up, worked hard, and gave everything they had to make this year’s FAB something special: thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we could not have done this without you.

Here’s to the team that makes FAB, FAB ✨

Today one of my very first friends crossed over the rainbow bridge…
Roscoe taught me everything I know: how to perfectly imprint the couch cushions, and exactly how boisterous our barks need to be to keep the mailman on his toes. He loved his squeaky donut so much that Mom and Dad got me a matching one so I could be just like him. He was the undisputed king of the boat and made sure I knew never to turn down a ride with Uncle Vic. Following him to the end of the dock with pride—and a little bit of taunting—is a memory I’ll hold onto forever. Rest Easy Roscoe Roo , Murphy has been waiting for you.💕💕

A lot happened between FAB ’25 + FAB ’26 for HCB Creative.

Turns out the secret to success is surrounding yourself with people who skip the talk and just do the work.

Randi, thanks for being equal parts boss, mentor, reality check, and friend. You set the bar high, expected the best, and somehow still found room for grace. I wouldn’t be where I am without you.

Ashley Hay Mitchell, thank you for being a light, always. You make my world go ‘round, sis. Thank you for every laugh, every pep talk, every moment you reminded me that nothing matters. I have so much love and appreciation for you.

To everyone I had the chance to meet and work with - thanks for making the chaos fun. We built some really cool things together. Watching you all absolutely crush what you do best was truly the best part!

I love you all. See you sooner rather than later 😉

I am pretty darn sure I just had the best ten days of my life!!!!!!

That Getty watermark costs $375 dollars so we are just going to leave it right where they put it!

@thisisfabchs

Came home a week ago from the best event around and still processing (and reintegrating!). Between work — I was on 3 panels this year! - repping @indprestaurants @bates_co and all the bad ass things our industry does, I got to see some of the best friends & colleagues, new and old. Thank you @ranwein, Jenny & the whole team that makes this possible.

This first photo by @natalialeporehagan captures my whole vibe and I LOVE it ✨

How’d I get so lucky?

📸 @emblexx @annaraym @liz.einhorn @natalialeporehagan & many others who are better taking photos than me 😉

I always need a moment to bask in the glow of @thisisfabchs brings me. This year was 10 years of FAB - 10!!! I came to FAB as a scholarship recipient then immediately after emailed @ranwein to volunteer for the next one. Basically said I’ll do anything I can to be apart and support. And I was so lucky she let me!!!
•
The women I’ve come to work along side every year just leave me breathless. They are strong, capable, fearless, selfless, loving, bigger than life and down right hilarious. I feel honored to be counted in your company.
•
The speakers and attendees a that I’ve gotten to know, fan girl over and befriend - y’all are the tits! I feel grateful to continue a chance to cultivate relationships with you all!
•
And to all the attendees - you make schlepping trash worth every ripped bag. Truly helping be apart of the team to curate this space for you fills my cup every year.
•
The world is a shit place - but I do believe in being the change. I hold that in my heart and strive everyday to bring that to my little piece of the world. And FAB always leaves me believing it’s possible ❤️
