Balance is something we work on quite often with our athletes, but rarely in isolation.

We can add upper-body movements, rotation, resistance, visual tasks, reaction drills or change the surface to create different challenges. It all depends on the athlete and what we want from the exercise.

In sports, losing balance is normal. The important part is how quickly the athlete can adjust the body, regain control and continue the movement.

That’s why we like to keep changing the stimulus and progressively bring these exercises closer to situations the athlete will actually face in their sport.
