A growing number of experts are warning about the rise of “hikikomori,” a condition first identified in Japan where people isolate themselves in their rooms for months or even years, avoiding school, work, and social interaction. Researchers say similar behavior is now being seen more often in America, especially among teens and young adults following the pandemic. The condition is often linked to excessive gaming, social media use, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and reversed sleep schedules where people stay awake all night and sleep during the day. However, psychologists stress that not every teenager who enjoys gaming or spending time alone has hikikomori, as the disorder involves extreme long-term social withdrawal that can seriously impact daily life and mental health. Thoughts here ??😳🎮

They need to give T.I.’s sons Domani and King their own show ASAP 😂 they’re literally the real-life Huey and Riley from The Boondocks.

King definitely fits the Riley role — loud, energetic, naturally funny, and always turning the smallest moment into pure entertainment. Domani gives more Huey vibes — laid-back, intelligent, serious-minded, and always seeming like he’s thinking ten steps ahead.

A new housing market report from Redfin found that the United States now has roughly 630,000 more home sellers than buyers, marking the largest gap recorded since the company began tracking the data in 2013. The report estimates sellers outnumber buyers by more than 46%, showing a major shift toward a buyer’s market after years of intense competition and bidding wars. Experts say many potential buyers are pulling back because of high mortgage rates, elevated home prices, rising property taxes, insurance costs, and growing economic uncertainty.

Even though inventory is growing and buyers now have more negotiating power, affordability remains a huge problem for many Americans. Homes are sitting on the market longer, and billions of dollars worth of listings have become “stale inventory” because sellers are struggling to find buyers willing or able to pay current prices. Analysts also note that while some markets — especially in the South — are cooling rapidly, expensive regions with limited housing supply are still resisting major price crashes. Economists believe the market is shifting into a slower, more cautious phase rather than heading toward a full repeat of the 2008 housing collapse. 🏠📉💰
