A chapter filled with learning, pressure, passion, and unforgettable moments. ☕️❤️

A huge thank you to @cmicoffee.ae @victoriaarduino_middleeast @davincigourmetarabia and all the judges for organizing this incredible competition and giving us a platform to challenge ourselves, learn from each other, and grow as baristas. Your time, guidance, and feedback mean a lot.

A special thank you to @gratefulfor.ae for believing in me, trusting my abilities, and giving me the opportunity to participate. 🙏🏻❤️ Your support gave me the confidence to step forward and represent what I’ve been working so hard for.

To my teammates, colleagues, friends, and everyone who supported and cheered for me — thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

I may not have taken home the result I hoped for, but I’m taking home experience, confidence, memories, and motivation to keep improving.

This is not the end of my journey.
I’ll keep learning. I’ll keep practicing. And I’ll come back stronger.

Thank you for believing in me.

🥉 2nd Runner-Up — UAE Fastest Barista, 2nd Edition | September 10, 2026 🇦🇪☕

Grateful for the experience, the challenge, and the opportunity to compete among 30 talented baristas. I may not have taken the championship this time, but I’m proud of what I gave on that stage.

The competition is not only about speed. It’s about precision, consistency, focus, and the proper execution of every drink—while staying calm under pressure and trusting your training.

A huge thank you to my Vibrant family @vibrant_cafe_roastery for the continuous support and encouragement. 💙💚 Your support means more than you know.

Thank you to all the sponsors and organizers @mbrankovan @rasam.adabi @bogdanprunila who made this event possible and successful. 🙏🏻

Speed, precision, pressure.

That’s what it takes to be crowned UAE’s Fastest Barista, and tonight @shanka_ar earned it.

@6ene_carl0 and @junglemark_ weren’t far behind either, finishing 2nd and 3rd in a genuinely tight race.

Events like this, organized by @cmicoffee.ae, are exactly why the UAE coffee scene keeps getting better.

@refill.roastery’s much awaited Battle of Baristas Season 2 kicked off last week.

First batch of competitors went head to head on espresso extraction and milk based coffee, each one pulled and poured for the judges under pressure.

Worth mentioning that this was organized like an SCA caliber event from start to finish.

And a special shout out to the gold sponsors @polpanorte.me for the naturally sweet açaí and @aiyaeurope for serving some of the best ceremonial matcha around.

Tomorrow, the second batch of competitors takes the stage at @victoriaarduino_middleeast Experience Lab. Come through and support your favorite barista ☕️
