There’s just something about NSU Homecoming💚💛

The music, the energy, the alumni, the conversations, the laughter… and I loved every bit of it. I’m blessed to forever be a proud Spartan Mom twice. 🫶🏾

This weekend gave me a chance to reconnect, meet new people, share some laughs, have some meaningful conversations, and just enjoy being in the middle of a community that means so much to my family.

From the sidelines to the End zone, from Spartan pride to MEAC Nation(former NSU track/field mom here👋🏾)was soaking it ALL in😎

Norfolk State will always have a special place in my heart, and this Homecoming reminded me exactly why.

Behold the Green and Gold! 💚💛

Now THIS was Homecoming energy. 😂💚💛

From the band coming in, to running into familiar faces, Spartan pride everywhere, and a little sideline dancing because why not? 💃🏽

I laughed, I danced, I soaked it all in — and had myself a GOOD time. 😎💚💛

There’s nothing like NSU Homecoming.

This one is dedicated to the amazing women I met in NOLA this week. One of my fav things about solo travel is meeting and bonding with people of diverse culture. I headed to NOLA by myself with no particular idea of what to expect but everything lined up so beautifully. I went on a pub crawl and met these women who had also solo traveled to NOLA to see the Queen 🐝, and boy did we have some fun.
Thank you for making this trip worthwhile. I really needed this.

Ps. Time and tide waits for no man. Seize every opportunity to give yourself joy 😌
