Before and after of a pretty kitchen renovation in Lincoln Park with @ratiaconstruction. The original range wall felt a bit underwhelming so we reimagined the elevation, turning it into a focal point that anchors the entire space. #coreylohmanndesign

Saturation / This East Lakeview Co-op is full of color and personality. The breakfast room layered patterns over patterns to create a warm space where you can linger over coffee or a casual meal.

The cooler temps this week in Chicago have me looking at some of our projects rich in jewel tones.

Pictured in Lincoln Park is the living room from our 19th-century, pre-war townhouse restoration. I can’t get over how remarkable some of the original features are! We were able to save or restore the staircase, fireplace, French doors and moldings.

Library inspired custom built-ins for a lovely Lincoln Park home. There were so many decisions and details to coordinate for this space and we love the way it turned out! Swipe for some before and progress photos! #coreylohmanndesign

We’ve been behind-the-scenes planning, scheming, and dreaming at my house renovation! While not all parts of a reno may be Instagram worthy, I might argue that new flooring very much is!

This summer, a lot of time went into the non-glamorous work like tearing out 100 years of different flooring, laying new level subfloors and then adding new flooring & patching it into the older areas that are in good condition. Thank you @apexwoodfloors (more on this amazing company soon).

New skylights were added (@veluxusa), all tile was ordered with @artistic_tile @thefinelinechi @country_floors and our @andersen_windows & doors are ready for a full exterior update, complete with new stucco, gutters and more! @ratiaconstruction

Things are picking up, friends and this family is ready to go into hyper speed! Do you think we will move-in in time for Christmas?

Details / one of the main goals of this renovation was to bring back details of the original architecture. The marble fireplace surround was restored back to this place of prominence m while trim was reproduced to match the original. Plaster crown molding and a ceiling medallion create the perfect finishing touch.

Truly overjoyed to have my Chicago home featured in the esteemed pages of @housebeautiful. Many years in the making, this has been a dream project and joyful collaboration with such a happy outcome.

I’m endlessly grateful to the talented creators, craftspeople, and writers who brought this feature to life—especially @centeredbydesign, who joined me in completing the restoration and creating the showstopping kitchen at the heart of our family home.

Pick up the summer issue of @housebeautiful on stands now or visit the link in my bio to read more about the loving restoration of our 1896 Victorian townhouse!

Special thanks to @centeredbydesign, @ratiaconstruction, @davidhulthenco, @housebeautiful, @josaltz, @carishaswanson, alongobucco, @juliadukeco
