Greg Stump, who famously filmed the 1987 Juicy Fruit commercial, was also the cameraman and voice of Burton Snowboards 1988 Snow Rules film, featuring a full section surfing the sand dunes and rallying a Suzuki Samurai through the mud with Craig Kelly, Dave Alden, Mike Jacoby, and a few other OGs.

Went deep in the rabbit hole of Whistler summer shredding (and livin’) for the latest episode of @goingoff_podcast -

Riding Blackcomb glacier was my first foray into summer riding and the epicness of BC. Those summers were filled with so many amazing humans that I got live, ride and play with. The antics, the sunburns, we spent the days slashing around the snow with dreams of going “pro” and the nights assing off in the village. It was a time ❤️

Well, that’s a wrap. I know the Winter did not go quite as planned. But I have to say, after last year’s near death injury. I’m just grateful to wake up every day and be able to get up to the mountain and out in nature again. You don’t realize how much we take life for granted, until we’re thrust into a situation that suddenly takes us away from all the things we love to do!

And a huge shout out to @mthoodmeadows @mthoodmeadowsparks @meadows_avydogs for all their hard work and dedication bringing “Our Mountain Home” to life - day in and day out!

At the end of the day, when it’s all said and done, I think it’s just the simplest of things and the camaraderie of friends, that’s the stuff that’ll matter most. For better or worse-Just being here for it. Experiencing it. Having those moments to look back on…

Feels like something to be extremely grateful for. 🙏🏽💯🏌️‍♂️💫👌

The Burton catalogs of the early 90s were 30 pages of the dopest riders boning it out in a splatter of mint green, purple, pink and of course yellow —with and a solo rider in a red jacket— Craig Kelly.

Before the Olympics and FIS came into snowboarding ISF- the international snowboard federation- had a fully formed world tour sponsored by whiskey and cigarette brands and looked a little something like this.

Full circle!

Last time I was in Breckenridge was about 30 years ago. I was the age of some of the Juniors I judged last week during the @ifsafreeriders junior freeride championship. It was my first podium on the Wold Cup, and standing next to the World Champion Phillipe Imhof and Mike Jacoby at the Master World cup was a dream come true
I love Breck, it got way bigger but the whole resort kept the same spirit

Thanks @ifsa for the Region 2 judging experience and what an amazing crew! 🤍
