I’ve waited a long time to post on this day.
(Yesterday 🫠)

For twelve years, National Daughter’s Day stung. I watched everyone share beautiful photos with their daughters, while all I had to share was a tiny hand and footprint in clay.

I’ve always felt like a girl mom, and I was so proud to carry Lark for those five months.

After all those years of imagining what it would feel like, there really are no words for the miracle of finally holding my girl.

On June 15th at 9:01 am, Ruby Lark Serpas was born. Twelve years ago, God planted a promise in our hearts. Today, we hold that miracle in our arms. Every good and perfect gift comes from above, and you are one of the sweetest gifts we’ve ever received.

Officially 1 month out of corporate 🫶🏻

This past month looked like starting a new serving role at @barsprezzatura (come through for happy hour, 4–7 daily!) while also working with @theadminlife.co overseeing operations…entrepreneur era? I finally got myself out of the house to explore my gorgeous neighborhood after 6 months, had the honor of being in and celebrating the wedding of two of the best people & caught the bouquet (💐), took an impromptu day trip to watch pals absolutely kill it on their national tour, picked up journaling (highly recommend), saw some beautiful art, and even had my first in person audition in nearly 2 years.

Safe to say, it’s been a pretty good month ✨

Happy birthday, best friend. You’re the coolest guy I know. You have the best taste in music, my favorite smile, and you’re the most incredible dad to our boys. You refuse to settle for anything less than what God has spoken over your life, and that’s one of the many reasons I love you.
