PROUD to share that I am the first Winter Olympic hopeful joining the New York Athletic Club!

As a local athlete, I grew up admiring the NYAC and the incredible athletes who wore the Winged Foot. But more than anything, I dreamed of one day being one of those athletes myself. I never imagined I’d have the opportunity to become part of that legacy…until today!

To now be the first winter-sport athlete in this program is an absolute dream come true and an honor. I’m excited not only for the legacy I will continue building on the ice over this next Olympic quad, but also for the athletes who will come after me. I hope this is the beginning of something bigger and that one day another winter athlete will look at the Winged Foot and see that there is a place for them here, too.

Thank you to the New York Athletic Club for believing in me, welcoming me into this incredible legacy, and giving me the opportunity to represent something I’ve admired for so many years.

I can’t wait to wear the Winged Foot as I take on this next Olympic quad. 🪽🇺🇸 thank you again for your kindness, hospitality, and above all your support.

Thank you for letting my story inspire you the way your support inspires me. Let’s go make some history this winter! @nyacathletics

"Let's do this as well back in NL!" we said in Crete during a meeting with several coaches. And we did.

Had the pleasure of organising another crossover training with @uspeed.trackteam , the groups of Marita @coaching2improvelife and psychologist Jasper @bluewavetc a couple of weeks ago. Recorded by @3dforyou

Photo I: Demonstrating a Deep Tier plyo variation, met by some healthy hesitation

Photo II: Happy with the group going for it

Photo III: Proprioception, mobility, full body activation, fun; I love ground-based locomotive patterns in warm ups

Photo IV: Explaining the why behind this "weird stuff" in detail to an interested audience

Photo V: One of the greatest tools to elicit rhythm, mobility and control at the same time, for any athlete

Photo VI: Combining the physical and the mental. How do you deal with racing thoughts entering the blocks? Make them less scary

Photo VII: Went for a run myself, think I had some fun

Some people finish the week with drinks.
We finish it with a ride out.

For us, training was never only about the gym.
It’s about building a stronger body, a calmer mind, more discipline and a life that actually feels good to live.
