Horagolla National Park, spanning 23 acres in Sri Lanka, is truly a paradise for anyone looking to connect deeply with Gaia. Picture yourself wandering through this lush wonderland, surrounded by majestic Hora trees. The park, blessed with 2000-2500 mm of rain annually and a warm average temperature of 28.5°C, creates an ideal environment for a rich variety of species. Here, you’ll encounter 10 species of mammals, 64 species of birds, 7 species of fish, and 28 species of butterflies. Despite its small size, the park bursts with biodiversity and serves as a crucial hub for scientific research. This incredible place is a vivid reminder that our environment's fate and our own survival are deeply intertwined.
