Here’s a few snakes that I was fortunate to pick up from a few great guys in the hobby this year.

First off I got a nice 0.1 GHI Pastel Het Clown from @ray52m at Cult Exotics. Thanks Ray.

Next I got a beauty 0.1 Piebald from @kta.constrictors that’s higher white. Thanks Kodey.

Next is a 1.0 Calico Fire Phantom Piebald from @operationpython that I picked up in an auction. Thanks Manny.

Last but not least I just picked up a 0.1 Fire Piebald from @theacorncollection_serpents over the weekend. Thanks Bubba.

All these snakes will be in rotation for next year, and I can’t wait. If you have a chance to deal with any of these guys, do it. These are some solid guys that I have the honour to call friends. Big thanks again gentlemen!!

Took home 🥇for Alberta’s provincials!

Honestly It’s hard to believe that back in March I decided to give this strongman thing a go again. I missed the community and I missed being able to be proud of myself.
I couldn’t have done it with out @shanipak123 ❤️ She may have lost her voice screaming all day but she helped me so much!
And @coachedbybrad for getting me strong and giving me the confidence that I needed going into this show! This is a win for him too!
Ended up winning every event except deadlift, @dobby.strongman was definitely to strong for me to pull that off!
Looking forward to nationals next

WHAT IS THE SARTORIUS?
It is a muscle that starts on the pelvis and it wraps around down to the inner side of the knee. It is a muscle that lays on top of the quadriceps. It’s main functions are: hip flexion, abduction and external rotation of the hip. But it is also assists in bending the knee (kind like a hamstring muscle). An example of when you are using the sartorius is when you are sitting with your legs crossed or kicking a ball.
If you are wanting to stretch your sartorius, you can do a modified 90/90. Where you lean back and rest on your hand or elbow on the ground. This position puts it all on stretch, especially if you roll your hips under you. When doing this stretch, you want to drive your knee into the ground and imagine rolling your knee onto the floor.
Feel free to give this stretch a shot and let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

These two came out of their eggs tonight. I'm thinking champagne and champagne cinnamon. Pairing was champagne cinnamon x chocolate. #champagne #cinnamon #morphschool #ballpython #royal #royalpython #python #regius #pythonregius #snake #reptile #love #livingart #reptilescanada #snakesincanada #instagood #pet #instagood #instapet #yyc #yeg #yxh #yxe #yqr #reptilescanada #iphonography #iphoneography #education #herpetology #animalhealth #snakehealth
