III. To the Exquisite Eta Xi Chapter,

You gave me more than memories — you gave me 39 sisters who became my bloodline.

Thank you for every lesson, every late night, every laugh, every hug, and every moment that shaped me into the woman I am today. Being able to continue the legacy my grandmother started and walk the same path of sisterhood, service, and love is something I’ll cherish forever. Alpha Kappa Alpha will always hold the deepest place in my heart. I gave my all to this chapter, and I’d do it again in every lifetime.

The people really do make the place…

I’m excited to say that I’ve officially graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a B.A. in International Affairs and a minor in applied biotechnology. Thank you @universityofga for the best four years I could have asked for. The me who entered UGA four years ago would have never comprehended how much I would learn, grow, and become the most authentic version of myself. All of that doesn’t happen alone, it happens because of the people you choose to surround yourself with. This place has given me not just a home but a second family in all the people who have loved and cared for me and that’s what makes it so hard to say goodbye. I will forever cherish this place, these people, and these memories ❤️ next up… medical school :) @rwjms

the time has come, there’s a new ☀️fine 9☀️ in town!

to my fine 9s: this simply can’t be goodbye. i don’t know how to explain that this isn’t just orientation to me or my team mates. meeting you all and your supporters was the experience of a lifetime. you have changed me in ways i will never be able to verbalize. drop a follow @shivanisrinivasan_ because whatever you need, whether it’s in 9 weeks or 9 years, you will always have a friend in me. and trust, i follow back ;)

it will always be OL 25. you guys are the goofiest but also warm people i have ever met, and i have learned so much from you all. i love you guys endlessly, and find comfort in knowing that it is reciprocated in 20 directions. while you are my biggest supporters, you are also the best people to be insecure around, always knowing the right things to say and never making me feel judged. the world needs people like all of you. i know that as you each touch different parts of the earth, you will spread your kindness and heart. go change the world!

to me! i am proud of myself for pursuing this even in the face of doubt and letting myself stumble. i am a fine 9, and will always be a fine 9!

to katie, the most genuine stranger, kind hearted team mate, and my sweet friend. i know the le9acy is safe in your hands. you are the brightest ray of sunshine, and you fill every room with warmth just by being. i am so happy we get to share this. my girl always!

This weekend I had the opportunity to represent our blue key honor society chapter at the national conference at Clemson University! I had so much fun and learned a lot from all the amazing people :) (Can you tell I lost my voice 😭) always grateful for these opportunities and the beautiful people I meet along the way ❤️
