THANK YOU to everyone who attended The Great Winter Gala!! From the bottom of my heart I’m thankful for everyone who has continued to support us over the years to make the toy & luggage drive a success! With your help we received 150 plus in donations & counting which is over $4,000 dollars worth of toys and luggage! Because of you a foster youth will be able to select a gift of their choice and have their own travel luggage!! ❤️💝💕🫶🏾🎁💝🎄

Last night, December,3rd, we
had the distinguished honored attending Be Great DC 5013c nonprofit @begreatdc “Great Winter Gala”, founded by @raypay_ , held at @dcgathers @thegatheringspots .

In light of the holiday season. The organization put together its Inaugural Winter Gala and 5th Holiday Toy Drive as a means to give back to the community, bringing joy to kids during the holiday, ranging from those who are in foster care and within the local community.

In 2021 the organization collected in-kind donation value of toys and luggage worth up to $12,000, and donated the toys to 200 youth’s.

Be Great DC @begreatdc mission focuses on health & wellness, youth & education, and community engagement initiatives for the DC area.

The Gala was hosted by Ms.Carter Sade @iamcartersade co-founder of @heynewfriends
and Mr.Britt Wright @brittwright_ .

Be Great DC also partnered with their affiliate nonprofit partners called National Center for Children and Families @nccfcares , which helps and aid those looking to adopt foster kids. NCCF Cares also serve nearly 50,000 vulnerable children, youth, and families each year in the D.C. Metro area.

Special acknowledgment to @christa1913

The night started and ended with music by @dj_jusjamz .
