ft. my fav banana bread in adl!

📍 rays by out in the paddock
204 Greenhill Rd, Eastwood SA 5063

have u tried the new rays along greenhill rd? u may be familiar with the name…and that’s cos they’re also located in burnside village! sitting outside was a little noisy at first with the lunchtime traffic, but we got used to it and the outdoor seating let us enjoy the lovely spring sun 🌤️

last year i randomly stumbled upon the banana bread at rays, and immediately loved it 💛 it’s baked so right - crispy outside and soft w sooo much real banana flavour inside 🤤 altho a small piece, it’s so worth the money and i’ve gone back multiple times just for it

highly recommend trying it at either location if u go ☺️

I love wellness.

I love learning about the body. I love beautiful food, morning sunlight, fresh juice, Pilates, sauna, low-tox living and all of the little practices that can support us.

But I think somewhere along the way, wellness became another place for women to feel like they weren’t doing enough.

Another supplement to take.

Another thing to remove from our diet.

Another metric to track.

Another morning routine to complete before the children wake up 😅

Another list of things we should be doing if we really cared about our health.

And the longer I’ve studied health and worked with women, the less interested I’ve become in perfection.

I want to know what the foundations look like.

Are you nourished?

Are you eating enough?

Are you sleeping?

Are you moving?

Are you getting outside?

How is your digestion?

How is your energy?

How do you feel across your cycle?

Do you have space for rest, connection, pleasure and joy?

Because we can optimise every tiny detail… but if pursuing “health” is leaving us stressed, restricted, depleted or afraid of living outside our routine, I think we’ve missed something.

There is absolutely a place for deeper support, targeted supplementation and therapeutic intervention. I use them in my work too.

But they should sit on top of the foundations. Not replace them.

Your health is built through what you do most of the time.

And there is so much freedom in that 🤍
