TRYKA × HOTBOX

📍 @gforce_fitness12
📅 Saturday 17th October
⏰ 10:45am

Tickets in bio!! 🎟️

Ever wanted to try TRYKA but don’t fancy stepping straight into a full-blown class? This one’s for you 👀

We’re teaming up with world-renowned TRYKA athlete @rayshah to learn all the techniques and master the basics before putting everything into practice with a doubles session at the end 💪

There’ll be a few of us giving it a go for the very first time, so it’s the perfect chance to try something new, learn together and have a bit of craic along the way. No experience needed, just come along and give it a crack!

Then we’re heading across the road to @thehotboxsauna , one of Dublin’s coolest sauna villages, for a well-earned recovery session 🔥

TRYKA, sauna and good people. What more could you want from a Saturday? 🤝

What started as an event I was booked to MC has turned into something I genuinely feel so lucky to be part of.

And coming home from Lisbon, after the Grand Finale of Series 1, I think I’ve realised just how much this little TRYKA family means to me.

It’s the people. ALL of the people.

The incredible crew who have become real friends. The athletes whose faces I now recognise at every event. The families, partners, friends and little ones cheering from the sidelines.

I absolutely LOVE getting to see familiar faces, hearing how training has been going, watching people get stronger, chase new goals, smash PBs and sometimes do things they never thought they could do.

To @brianbrucelee and @sineadsfitnesscoaching , what you’ve created goes way beyond a fitness race. You’ve built a community where people genuinely show up for each other, and I’m so proud to be a little part of it.

To now be one of TRYKA’s official MCs and to get the honour of hosting the Series 1 Grand Finale awards in Lisbon alongside my brilliant partner-in-crime @rayshah was the absolute cherry on top of an incredible weekend! 🇵🇹

BUT we’re only getting started!!!

Series 2, Race 1 kicks off in just a couple of weeks, and we’re bringing it right back to where it all began, the RDS Dublin, for Halloween weekend! 🎃🔥

I cannot WAIT to see everyone again, meet more of you, hear your stories and be right there cheering you across that finish line.

Because TRYKA isn’t just a race.
It’s the people. It’s the community. It’s the good feckin ENERGY.

And there’s nothing quite like it.

See you at the RDS, TRYKA family! 🫶🏻

From couch to TRYKA… what have I signed myself up for?! 😂💀

Couch to TRYKA | Part 2 🏋️

The mission? Go from below average to above average, one challenge at a time!

I’m a complete beginner, pushing myself out of my comfort zone and seeing what I’m actually capable of. Sure, what could go wrong? 😂

Massive thanks to @rayshah for taking the time to run through the movements with me just a week before Lisbon. Absolute legend! 🙌

And a huge congratulations on finishing 2nd overall in the Men’s Pro Series! Incredible achievement! 👏

Couch to TRYKA! 800m Solo confirmed 😬

Part 1 with @rayshah showing me the ropes in @westwoodclub Clontarf and teaching me how to tackle the different stations for @tryka.fit !

I’m not going to lie, I’m incredibly nervous about this one. It’s a massive challenge for me, and I’ve still got a lot of work to do over the next few weeks.

But sure, that’s the whole point of this page. Getting out of my comfort zone, giving things a go and seeing what happens!

Plenty of work ahead, but I’m here to try! 💪

Follow along for Part 2, where things get even tougher 👀
