Happy 40th to the love of my life. I get excited every day I get to do life with you. To know Ry is to love him. He is the kindest, wisest, most dedicated, dreamer of a human being that I know and I am so lucky to call him mine.

As you can imagine, getting sick a month after getting married can be hard on a marriage. But Ryan handled it with grace. I had 20%, he carried 80%. I didn’t know what decision to make, Ryan was reading every book he could possibly buy on Amazon to help me choose the best path forward. I wanted to be close to my family during chemo, he said let’s move.

Ry told me a few weeks ago “you know when I was in my late 20’s, I used to worry about aging all of the time, that things wouldn’t get better than what they were right then. But as I’ve gotten older every year just keeps getting better and better”. I hope we all get to live life from Ry’s point of view that every year just gets better and better.

Here’s to you boo, forever and ever. Hope you feel as special as you are today. ♥️

She’s CANCER FREE!!!!!

Crying biiiig tears as I write this. Crying and mourning all cancer took from me while at the same time, rejoicing and celebrating the place I am in now. To be cancer free and to feel like a human being, to have energy, to have a body that can move and work and dance freely… it’s EVERYTHING!

Thank you, thank you, thank you again to everyone who has supported me and my husband during this extremely challenging time. We have started to talk about the ways we can pay it forward and I am so excited to see what we can do in that aspect in the years to come. Shoutout to the man upstairs for his role in my healing as well.

Next steps: conquering the fatigue I continue to battle from the effects of the chemo. (I’d say I’m about 80% of my old self and even that is INCREDIBLE). One of the side effects of my chemo is damage to the Thyroid and as of right now I have a 50/50 chance of my thyroid not recovering vs. having a full recovery. Specific prayers for a full recovery would be wonderful 🙏🏼

See you never cancer. It’s been real. ✌🏼

A year ago today in Estes Park, Colorado, we hiked up a mountian in Rocky Mountain National Park and I married the love of my life!

Thankful to finally share this sweet moment in time.

Originally it was just an elopement until our big day, but God had other plans for us this year and what a first year of marriage it has been! While this past year has been challenging and awful in so many ways, when I look back I am SO grateful and thankful. When I married you I thought I couldn’t possibly love you more than I already did. But this year has made our love grow just that much bigger and stronger.

You are my rock, my safe space, my inspiration, my person. Here’s to 1 year down, forever to go. Happy 1 year anniversary babe 🕊️
