POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We’ve arrived at our last city for @thethornofficial in fabulous Boston. The Wang Theater is probably my favorite performing arts theater in the country. It was established as The Metropolitan Theater in 1925 and its history is rich! I can imagine the stories these walls could tell! Here are some photos from rehearsals in Nashville, behind the scenes and side stage in various theaters as well as inside the beautiful Wang. @avenoir.movement.photography

Check out the full music video for “Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit”, directed by Emmy-winner Bradford May, from the movie musical Mendel’s Messiah.

The spirited song, which features a unique triple melody, is based on Matthew 5:3-6 & Ezekiel 34:23-24. It is performed by actor/vocalist Beau Davidson, who plays Yeshua (Jesus) & the Cast; with Music, Lyrics & Orchestration by award-winning composer Jeremiah Ginsberg; and lively Choreography by the effervescent Carolyn Paddock.
