(Where Clouds Once Formed)" directed by Su Yu Hsin. This film traces Arizona’s desert as it is reshaped into a hub for data centres and semiconductor manufacturing. Moving through altered waterways, the film exposes tensions between technoutopian visions and drought-stricken ecologies. Guided by offscreen voices and Tohono O’odham poet Ofelia Zepeda’s ‘Cloud Song’, ancestral knowledge counters the rise of industrial ‘cloud’ infrastructures. #arizona #desert #filmfestival #labocine

Ibraaz Publishing recommences its platform series with Platform 011. Across essays, conversations, visual and sonic thinking, fiction, poetry, and moving image, Platform 011 takes as its central framing question: ‘When does the term “Global Majority” describe an existing condition and when does it begin to produce one?’ As Platform 011 evolves over the coming nine to twelve months, artists, writers, thinkers, cultural workers, and activists working in different geopolitical contexts and disciplines will be invited to probe the role that art, language, organisational infrastructures, political affiliations, developing technologies, archival research, and publishing might play in imagining new forms of transnational solidarity and planetary belonging. Platform 011 opens with contributions from Shahidul Alam, Louisa Yousfi, Gargi Bhattacharyya, Omar El Akkad, Kathryn Yusoff, Maya Indira Ganesh, Nadim Choufi, Djamila Ribeiro, Najlaa Eltom, Mayada Ibrahim, MK Harb, DJ Diaki, Su Yu Hsin, amongst others.  🔗 Explore Platform 011 now via the link in bio.

New in our IBB Video Space: Su Yu Hsin 💥 In her trilogy ”Particular Waters“ (2026, 46 min.), Su Yu Hsin @rcagnes explores the material foundations of digital technologies. At its centre are water, the desert and silicon – resources and landscapes without which computer chips, datacentres and artificial intelligence could not exist. Rather than presenting digital infrastructures as abstract technologies, the artist shifts the focus to the ecological and political conditions on which they rely. Two parts of “Particular Waters” (2026, 46 min.) can also be streamed online via Video Art online throughout the entire exhibition period (9.9.26 – 26.10.26), 🔗 in bio. —— ID in alt text / !B Credits: Su Yu Hsin, Particular waters film trilogy, 2026, HD Video, 14:00 Min., © Su Yu Hsin, Courtesy Su Yu Hsin and alexander levy @alexanderlevygallery #SuYuHsinBG #VideoArt #VideoKunst #BerlinischeGalerie English: A text slide with white text on a black background. Yet foreignness does not end with arrival. Labour remains embedded in objects; rituals acquire a local taste; data folds into memory; performance recasts borrowed forms; infrastructure settles into land; history lodges in the body. Reception gradually gives way to internalisation, reinterpretation and return. Across six films, Things Brought Ashore traces these movements, asking not simply where imported things originate, but who reframes them, who observes them, and what histories return to view. — 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 13 September 2026 · 16:30–21:30 @saltyacid.space 18 September 2026 · 20:00 @kinoundbar — 🎞 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝘂𝗽 SUN Tiange @tiangesun — Beauty·Labors 美·工 · 24:44 ZHANG Shengjia @zhang.shengjia — Birthday Cakes from China 生日蛋糕 恭祝你福寿与天齐 · 26:09 DU Zhenyu @d.zhenyu.32 — PARK.DAT 乐园.DAT · 13:53 Elias Fritz & Carlos Laux y Silió @hongkongheels — Hong Kong Heels 港出我天后 · 20:00 with special guest @popofan ✨ SU Yu Hsin @rcagnes — Where Clouds Once Formed 云过无雨 · 13:44 Nanut Thanapornrapee @nanut.t — King of the Cyborg Elephant · 15:52 Total duration: approximately 1h 54min — 🎟️ LINK in BIO — Credit: Visual by Minu KIM @works.minu , Tuo Nick WANG @nick_99_11
