We dreamt really big. You said “I can do this" and you said "WE can do this" to brand new (scary) things. You are the reason those around you say, “I can do that, too.” Thank you for being a guiding light, especially mine. It was, and will continue to be, an honor to witness all that these races took and all the ways we grew from them: the months of runs that gave some answers and ones that maybe asked more questions, the anxious chats and silences before the race, the fidgeting fingers and bouncing knees at the start line, the well of tears at the “see you soon” hugs, the smiles and sighs mid-race, all finishing with open arms and full hearts.

I am changed by each of you and love you endlessly. Never forget to look up!

Thank you @hey_miya for being the best teammate of them all 💖

Thank you always to @renegade_running @hoka @itschloeemschulman @corrinemalcolm for dreaming so expansively with us. ❤️‍🔥

We are not quite done for the year... 🌱

When the race doesn’t go like you hoped, it’s great to be able to fall back on, “Well, at least we had an epic trip to France.” I’m not going to wax poetic on Instagram about my first DNF. It just wasn’t my day… the body and mind weren’t having any of it, so I listened. Called my day early after 50 rainy miles through Italy and Switzerland. Rounded out my trip with 3 days hiking with G, eating so much amazing food (I could eat at Mumma everyday), laughing with my friends, and reflecting on what a cool journey this all is. The initial sting of calling my race early was very rough - but it was another experience I can carry forward and learn from. I’m continually inspired by the sport, the amazing women doing epic things across the field, and the growth of this community. I’m also sooooo grateful for all the support along the way here: Grayson, my family, coach Sarah, Sam and Rachel for the group hug in Trient.💗 luckiest gal!! Exciting new races on the radar have me refreshing my Chinese skills and continuing to build on the fitness I built for CCC ✨🫶🚀

I wrote one third of a book. It’s called @fiftyclassictrails.

@ianmaclellan and @rickeygates wrote the rest of it. If you ask me, they did a pretty good job.

@kilianjornet wrote the foreword. If you haven’t heard of him, he likes running. A lot.

@rizzolibooks did a ton of fact checking and grammar fixing. @runners4publiclands gets a cut, but only if you actually buy the book. Otherwise they don’t get anything.

It took us four years. That’s a long time. If you’d like to help us out — or just feel bad that we write so slowly — you can preorder the book with link in my bio. That would be neat.

Thanks friends. This one means a lot.

We’re proud of the people you were on the start line, and we’re even prouder, if it's possible, of the people we got to meet at the finish line. You faced a course full of unknowns on the biggest stage in the world and made it your own.

The race of a lifetime: six of the women from our trail racing team are running OCC and CCC this week at @utmbmontblanc. These women represent the best of Renegade: not only in talent and expertise, but in their embodiment of teamwork—of dreaming big and dreaming even bigger for those around them.

They've been training hard the last few months, each driven by unique intentions and goals for this race. They're ready to run, for themselves and for each other, and to show off the very best parts of us. We're so proud of them.

A very special thank you to @hoka for supporting this dream.
