turns four! 🥹

Four years ago, I started this account to connect with others who enjoy the same as me, and it has grown amounts that I’m eternally grateful, and I’m glad I took the plunge when I did 🫶🏻

I always cherish the friendships I’ve made over these years, purely for the love of books and so much more, so many genuine, kind friendships that I know will last a lifetime 🥹

And to the authors I’ve been able to discover, love and being able to connect with them personally is another thing before I started didn’t think would be possible! So to all of you, I love and appreciate you all so much! 😍

March was so good but such a busy month with the long weekend away with family friends, catching up with family for a reunion and to top it off go down hockey in Melb wit some of the gals 🥰🥰

March 🍂

This month I read 24 books and I DNFd 0! Clearly I worked too much this month hence the high audiobook count 🤣

Aside from being unwell I had a very nice uneventful March! Just good friends, good books, and relaxing times!

Highlights of March:
🍂 Went to the zoo with my kids and ran into one of my best friends from uni!
🍂 Visiting the Trilogy of Romance!
🍂 Went on a little weekend getaway with Tom. Saw The Book of Mormon and the Trans-Tasman Ice Hockey match. (This is also unfortunately where I go unwell 🤦🏼‍♀️)
🍂 My kids and I went and donated pads and tampons to Share the Dignity. The kids LOVED picking out different types of pads ahhaha
🍂 Had a wonderful catch up night with @readswith.erin - obviously the only phot I got was of Lenny 🤣
🍂 Shelf Care bookclub meet up in Cranbourne with @agirlofpagesandthreads @emysreadingcorner and @belindasbookshelf - was so much fun!
🍂 Went to the Good Friday Appeal ice hockey match with my girls (and some of their partners) and it was so much fun!!
🍂 I started crocheting!!!!

I got through 21 books off my TBR this month! I’m hoping to continue working my way through it! Still have 600 to go. 👀

Happy Sunday and happy March! 🫶🏻

February was such a good but slow month for me, taking more time to slow down and enjoy my holidays at the start of the month! 🌊

February was a beautiful month indeed, which included Galentines Day book bedazzling with the Shelf Care gals, which was full of so many chats and so much fun, going on holidays to the beach in SA, seeing Wuthering Heights on release day with one of my best friends and going down to the F1 Exhibition in Melbourne with @read_withjem 🫶🏻

February☀️

This month I read 14 books and I DNFd 1! ☀️

I think much like everyone my February was very up and down. Reading wise I actually had a great month. I had some really fantastic reads. Most averaged between 4-4.5 star! Which is awesome!

Highlights of February:
☀️ My library was completed!!! All the books are on shelves, decor is up, and my happy space is finally complete!
☀️ Had some lovely family time with my nephew 🐻
☀️ Galentines at @qbdbooks with @agirlofpagesandthreads was a definite highlight! It was so so much fun!
☀️ Wuthering Heights that same night! I’m obsessed and wanna see it again!!!
☀️ My darling @readswith.erin came to visit and see the library!
☀️ Bookclub with my favourite peoples 🥹 we bedazzled, played pass-the-parcel, and had wonderful chats!
☀️ We got a new fence so Hamish happily got a new dirty pile to play in 🤣
☀️ I somehow took custody of three magpie babies - I love them. They visit every morning and arvo!
☀️ I got to see my girl @casey_readss at a crafternoon 🩷
☀️ Took my daughter to to Ed Sheeran for her first concert last night!

I got through 13 books off my TBR this month! I’m hoping to continue working my way through it! Still have 600 to go. 👀

Finally coming out of my COVID haze enough to share book club from last weekend.

What an absolutely beautiful day with these gorgeous gals! Lots of love this galentines day, which included plenty of snacks, bedazzling our books of choice, chatting and picking our March BOTM, which is Direbound by @sablesorensen 🫶🏻

This months pick was The Tragedy of Felix and Jake by @authorjdaniels, for which those of us that read it enjoyed it! I rated it 4.25 ⭐️

March book pick is… parcel the parcel edition!!!!! This was so fun - I wrote down all the options, folded them, then randomly wrapped every layer with a new book! It was so much fun and brought back such childhood nostalgia 🥹💕 #galentines #bookclub #wearenotreading #shelfcareclub
