📚 April reading wrap up 🎧

I read a total of 6 books, listened to 1 audiobook & watched 1 book adaptation movie this month. You guessed it, Project Hail Mary & it was 9.75/10 for me (no crying) 🥹 I also finally found a 5 ⭐️ read this month after a long hunt since February!

I read a book that I probably wouldn’t have picked up if it weren’t for the book club I was in, what an adventure that was! 🎣 How was your April reading journey? 💭

my bank holiday reading is the secret lives of murderers wives which is the may pick for the mindful bookclub hosted by @readbysima and I think it’s the perfect read for a hot summer day

the lovely @readbysima was kind enough to send me this book to celebrate me being the first book lover to join her book club and I’m so happy I did join because it’s been so fun 🫶💞

We still can’t stop thinking about our trip of a lifetime, celebrating the upcoming launch of Matt Haig’s The Midnight Train. We were joined on board a very special train by some very special book people, who spent time with Matt talking about the new book and celebrating in style. We can’t wait to share The Midnight Train with you all this Thursday 18th! For now, here are some highlights of our journey. April 10th 💖

my current read for ✨ @readbysima book club ✨ and oh my what a read, it’s just as good as I hoped it would be

so when I visited my local Waterstones I had to take a picture of this wonderfully pink book with its wonderfully pink window display

i’m over two hundred pages in and I’m obsessed with Eriko and Shoko. They are utterly unhinged and I’m here for it. Their relationship is as fascinating as it is terrifying and my mind spins when I try to predict how it’s going to end

fingers crossed I get to finish it this weekend because I’m desperate to find out what happens
