Some things are bigger than any one person.

The sport we love is worth showing up for, fighting for, and carrying forward. The 12th Wave is a promise that obstacle course racing still has a home—and that the people who built it, serve it, and believe in it are not standing alone.

This year, we dedicate Frontline OCR’s 12th Wave to the men and women in law enforcement who serve their communities with courage and commitment. We honor those who serve today, those who have served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

On Memorial Day Weekend, we’ll come together to remember, to honor, and to prove what a community can do when it shows up for something bigger than itself.

We had lots of fun in Chicago. 😎

But can you do it at over 7,000 feet? 😉

Six hours. 7,100 feet. More than 30 rig attempts and 20 carries.

The 2027 HartFit Labor Day OCR 6 Hour is built around technical obstacles, rotating HYBRID challenges, and six hours to pursue your own goal—whether that’s mileage, the podium, or proving you can keep moving.

Free preregistration is open now. It puts you on the first priority list as spots are EXTREMELY limited. Pricing and official registration details are coming.

Labor Day 2027. Peyton, Colorado.

Some races are built to make you feel accomplished.

Frontline OCR was built to find out what happens when that feeling disappears.

When the weight gets heavier. When the obstacles stop cooperating. When the vest becomes something you have to earn with every step. When quitting would be completely understandable—but no longer acceptable.

This course was never built purely for the sake of completing obstacles, but rather for the sake of completing you.

It was built for the ones willing to suffer for something bigger than a medal. The ones who understand honor, sacrifice, and commitment aren’t words printed on a shirt. They’re promises kept when walking away would be easier.

Frontline athletes don’t need the mission softened.

They were built different.

Super late to posting but the last few weeks have been like a whole year. WarX 2026: left be beaten and bruised but went completely as expected given the time I've been able to put towards training. This truly is the best course for our USAOCR team trials.

I considered it a huge win just to get through the low rigs and gibbons; historically my arch enemies. This was a great test going into Worlds and I think I've done pretty well lately considering the constraints and circumstances.

Loved seeing everyone; it's been too long. Looking forward to Ireland!

It felt good to be on obstacles and racing again
My obstacle work is improving and I was so excited I made it through first try on each of the rigs both laps!

Proud to bring home the 🥇 for the endurance race.

So much fun racing and seeing my friends and teammates

Yep just me over here training burpee box jumps anxiously waiting to start racing in the mud on challenging obstacles with some amazing people again!

Real talk. You can only do the same obstacles over and over before they're not longer challenging for you. When the challenge is gone, that's when it gets boring. When it gets boring, that's when you find something else to do.

We don't do easy and we don't do boring. So if you're up for a challenge and ready to play on new obstacles, come see us in September. 😎

Our women's podiums are small but distinguished. These athletes may not have big sponsors (or any at all for that matter), massive followings, or a national championship title, but here's the thing about those championships: they're easier. A lot easier.

At Midwest OCR, you can't buy your way out of a failed obstacle with a burpee penalty. You complete the obstacle or you don't. You're also not gonna be doing the same old obstacles that you've had dialed in for quite some time now and the obstacle is no longer a challenge for you. That means our podium doesn't go to the fastest runner. It goes to the most complete athlete. Speed matters, but it won't save you if your obstacle game isn't there.

These women have both. That's why they're some of the best in the sport. They just race somewhere worthy of proving it.

But here's what keeps us up at night. We know there are women out there who belong on our podium. Some of you have come agonizingly close. Some of you haven't raced with us yet but absolutely should. This is your year. We want to see every spot on that podium fought for and filled.

Let's go ladies!💪💪💪
