fantasy fall tag ⚔️🍂❤️‍🔥

what are some fantasy books you hope to read this fall?

Happy October everyone! For me, fall is my favorite time to read fantasy books (I’ve saved so many books to read for these next few months). There is no better feeling than curling up with a good book on a cool autumn day. I feel like the atmosphere of fall always has me craving fantasy. I’m currently re-reading ACOSF (with the hopes I’ll finish it before ACOSH comes out)! I won’t have as much time to read this things this month, so I’ve been listening to the graphic audio of it during my commute to and from work!

I had so much fun creating this tag last year that I thought I’d post it again! I tagged a few people who I thought might have fun with this! I definitely wanted to tag more, so you can consider yourself tagged if you see this! ⚔️🍂❤️‍🔥

🔥the eternal flame: what are some of your favorite fantasy books?
~Kingdom of Ash (I’m never recovering over a year later)
~Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil (I can’t wait to talk about it at book club today)
~Tower of Dawn (I’ll forever defend this book)
~The Knight and the Moth (Bartholomew)
~ACOSF (Nesta, I’ll never stop defending you)

🔮the magical mage: what fantasy books are on your fall tbr?
~ACOSH
~Alchemised (reread)
~Kiss of the Black Flame
~Threshing Day
~The Knave and the Moon

⚔️the broken knight: what are some of your favorite tropes in fantasy books?
~ enemies to lovers (it’s so basic, but I love it every single time)
~found family (another basic one, but these types of stories are always so comforting to read)

🍂the forbidden forest: what is a fantasy place you wish you could go to?
~I’ll forever dream of visiting Terrasen. After finishing TOG, I finally get everyone’s obsession with it

🍺the restful tavern: do you prefer a cozy fantasy or adventurous fantasy?
~I still haven’t read too many cozy fantasy books so I’d say adventurous fantasy books for now!

🐉the dangerous dragon: who are some fantasy villains you love to hate?
~Maeve!!! She was an absolute terror and I’ve truly never hated a character more (and she’s honestly so terrifying)

end of summer book tag 🍊🌊🐞🫐

🫐what was your favorite book of the summer?

Happy Monday everyone! The summer is really winding down and I can feel fall creeping in (even though it feels like summer just started). I feel like it was a super rainy/cloudy summer this year so I didn’t get to spend as much time as I was hoping outside. I’m back to work for a new school year tomorrow so this is my last real day of summer and I’m trying to soak up every minute of it (and mentally avoiding the fact that I’m starting at a new school and feeling very anxious about all the unknowns)

🍊🌊🐞🫐🍊🌊🐞🍊

I saw this super cute tag going around and it seemed like the perfect way to say goodbye to summer. As always I tagged a few people who I thought might have fun, but you can always consider yourself tagged if you see this too!

🍋lemon: a book that felt like pure summer sunshine
~One Golden Summer had the perfect summer vibes

🏖️beach vibes: a book you’d take to the beach
~TROPESICK!!! It’s such a perfect book to get lost in on an east coast beach

🌅sunset: a book that surprised you this summer
~Games, I went in knowing nothing and I left feeling absolutely OBSESSED!!

🐚sea shell: your favorite summer read
~Let’s Kiss and Tell was my favorite book of this summer!! Joss Richard I’ll always be obsessed your amazing writing

🍦ice cream: a book that transported you somewhere warm
~Tower of Dawn!!! I read it last August during a heat wave it made for such an immersive read

👙swimwear: your most colorful summer read
~Just for the Summer! I’ll never get over how vibrant the cover is!

☀️sunshine: a book that gives you the ultimate summer feeling
~Playing with My Heartstrings is a perfect summer book!

🍂fall leaves: a book you’re excited to read this fall
~ I’m itching to reread It’s Different This Time
