✨ Emotions Challenge ✨ HAPPINESS - a book you enjoyed reading - The four full bookshelves in my apartment? 🤣 My most recent one would probably be Anon Please. Pure entertainment from start to finish. HUMOR - a book that made you laugh - Bossypants. That will forever be the book that almost made me pee myself on the subway. 😬🤷🏻‍♀️ SADNESS - a book that gave you all the feels - You’re The Only One I’ve Told. It was such a rollercoaster of emotions. ANTICIPATION - a book you're looking forward to reading - Cults. Do I even need to explain why? SURPRISE - a book you surprisingly liked - A Visible Man. I heard good things but as a person who isn’t very informed on the fashion world, I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. EMBARASSED - a book that everyone seems to have read but you - Beautiful World, Where Are You. I’ll get there 🤣 FEAR - a book that you're intimidated to read - Beartown. I feel like everyone loved it so much and I’m nervous that it won’t live up to the expectations I have 🙈 Thank you to @bookishkaye for the tag! I really enjoyed this one, even though it took me several months to finally post. 😆 I’ve tagged some friends too but as always, if this sounds fun, consider yourself tagged as well! ✨

🖍️ Color Stack Challenge ✏️ How many books with colors in the title do you have? 🦷 White Teeth - Zadie Smith 👢 Naturally Tan - Tan Smith 🍷 Red White & Royal Blue - Casey McQuiston 🌲 Delilah Green Doesn't Care - Ashley Herring Blake 🕶️ - Black Girls Must Die Exhausted - Jayne Allen Thank you to the lovely @beccathebookishbabe for this tag! ❤️ I've tagged a few friends as well, but if you like to search your bookshelves for some color, consider yourself tagged too! I'm still slowly crawling my way back on to booksta and challenges have always been helpful when I'm lacking inspo. If there are any that you think are fun, please send them my way or tag me! ✨

Y’all, we’ve got a problem… 😆 The TBR cart has overflowed on to the floor. (It has also had to be relocated out of the nook but that’s for it’s own safety during windowgate.) Since we’ve officially taken it too far, I thought this would be a good time to do the #tbrtag challenge that @bookishkaye tagged me in 100 years ago. 📚 How many books are on your TBR? I think making me count is just rude so I decline to answer this question 🤣 📚 Which book has been on your TBR for the longest? Probably Bolshoi Confidential. She’s super interesting but a very dense nonfiction girlie. 📚 Next book on your TBR? Might finally start the Beartown series 📚 The last book you took off your TBR? The Heart of the Deal - Lindsay Macmillan Has anyone else’s TBR taken on a life or it’s own? 🤣 Suggestions on what to pick up next are always greatly appreciated. I’ve tagged a few friends as well, but if you’d like to join me in admitting how out of control your TBR is, consider yourself tagged too. 😬

⚠️ Bookish Toxic Traits ☣️ Way back when (in July) @bookswithbuns tagged me in the #ToxicReadingTraits challenge and I loved it and then never participated. 😆 So here it goes: ▪️I need them to match or my head will explode.▪️ Nothing drives me more insane than when the all the books in a series don't match. How you gonna act like that?! It's a series, aka a set!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ This pic does it zero justice (because I intenionally took it in a way that wouldn't annoy me) but the first book in the Silo series in significantly smaller than the last two AND the designs aren't the same. Why? WHY? There's a couple of actual sets available now but I'm trying to control myself and not buy books I already have. 😑 ▪️I will dig through an entire stack of books on a table at the bookstore to find one that's not damaged.▪️ And I honestly might not buy it at all if there's only ones with bent edges or tears or scuffs on it. 😆🙄 ▪️Any small inconvenience, I'm buying books.▪️ Or any celebratory moment for that matter. Any excuse really. My wallet may spontaneously burst into flames one day. 🤣 ▪️Don't touch my books.▪️ I don't walk into your house and open your drawers and start going through stuff right? Okay so why do you walk into my house and start pulling shit off my shelves? 🤨 To be fair, there are plenty of friends that I would be fine with them going through my books, but literally only one of them isn't scarred enough by my nonsense to actually borrow books from me. 🙃😬 Are you guilty of any of these? I know we're all our own brand of weird, but I hope I'm not alone in all of these. 🙈 I've tagged a few friends that I think might enjoy this one, but if you think it looks fun, consider yourself tagged too! ✨
