To say I was spoilt last week is an understatement by lovely book friends, my birthday book group and my family. I’m so unbelievably lucky.

The Witch by Freida McFadden

I know this one hasn’t been everyone’s favourite but I LOVED it! 🖤 It felt quite different from Freida’s other books. I really enjoyed the two different timelines. I thought they worked well together and made the story more interesting.

This has definitely become one of my favourite Freida McFadden books!

I think it’s perfect for spooky season although I wouldn’t say it’s spooky. The witch element just makes it fit perfectly with the Halloween vibes!

For years I've intended to sign up to one of these and with a September birthday, it's a long old wait until it's your turn. It's been gorgeous seeing what people have received each month though, and so much fun being inspired by everyone else's wishlists 🤭

I couldn't wait, so actually ended up opening these just before we went away for my 40th - partly because the pile was messy, partly because it was cardboard bin day and partly because I was impatient 😂 anyway - WOW! The group delivered!!!
