Reading all your replies honestly made me a little emotional. Everyone is carrying something, working on something, healing from something — quietly, in their own way. Different words, same intention: to grow, to protect our peace, to be a little kinder to ourselves this year. It felt really comforting to know none of us are alone in this. We’re all just trying, and that counts more than we think 🤍

Hello 2026! 🌻✨️

I still can't process we are four days into the new year already.😭 Time is really running.
New year, new reading goals and new energy(which I am really trying real hard to bring into this year🤧)

A few days back, I asked my friends on my story to suggest me one book that they love with their whole heart and would want me to read this year, and thankyouu for all the responses you guys😭💗.
Of all those recs, I have picked 12 books that I wanted to read and that fall under the umbrella of my goal this year to read diversely. ✨️

Some of these are totally new titles and some have been on my tbr for quite some time now. I reallt hope I manage to read all of these and if I do, I will be over the moon for sure 😁✨️

Bookstagram has quietly become a place where ordinary readers turn their private tenderness into whole universes, and somehow those universes begin holding them together in ways they never knew they needed. It is extraordinary how a person can arrive here with nothing but the softness of a single line that stayed lodged in their chest, and suddenly find themselves surrounded by strangers who understand a part of them they’ve never managed to explain. What begins as a simple attempt to share a moment becomes an unexpected doorway into a quieter version of life, a place where people gather the glowing fragments of their days before they disappear.

There is an intimacy to this space that feels older than the internet itself. Every photograph is a disguised confession. A book resting in a pool of morning light says I am trying to breathe slower. A shadow on a page says I want to remember this softness. A hand holding a paperback says I am still learning how to carry myself. Bookstagram becomes an unintentional museum of human gentleness, a collection of small altars built out of linen textures, scribbled margins, half-drunk tea and the kind of beauty that does not announce itself but waits to be noticed.
