Love trying new movements or new variations of common movements because you never know when you’ll find a new gem!

With how much time it takes to set it up, don’t waste time doing them wrong! Get the most bang for your thrust!

Sometimes it’s not that the movement isn’t good, maybe you just need to do it a bit different to enjoy it!
It may also be the wrist strap that made me prefer it but I’m just sayyyyying I did all sets of 10 reps with 20lbs 😂 that’s a big deal on cable laterals IYKYK 🙌🏼

There is not age cap when it comes to being strong and building muscle!

As we get older, we naturally start to lose muscle — which is exactly why strength training becomes even MORE important.

Lifting weights isn’t just about looking strong. It’s about staying strong, moving well, keeping your independence, and continuing to do the things you love.

Your body doesn’t stop needing strength just because you get older. If anything, it needs it more.

I use to not enjoy upper body workouts because I felt like there weren’t a ton of exercise selections (or ones I enjoyed) but now it’s my favorite training day 💪🏼 these are some pretty spicy editions that will be showing up frequently

My clients seeing this like 🫣 but of course it’s all out of love!

You won’t always do everything til failure but if you’re on a program and it specifies to go til failure there’s probabbbbbly a reason for that.

The one component I personally enjoy when comes to pushing to failure on certain movements is the fact that I am forcing myself to push through the point when I wanna stop and having to to go on until I NEED to stop. It’s teaching that something’s going to feel hard and it’s going to challenge you; but if you are still capable of doing just a little bit more, then you’re going to push the hardest that you can to do a little bit more.. 🙌🏼

YEEHAW! 🤠 these are definitely here to stay!
I was actually able to do 2 sets with 20lbs for ALL REPS….for cable lateral raises that’s a win (iykyk)

Time to be annoying and do entire workouts with my straps 😎

Embrace the work required to become stronger. Because results are built, not given. Success is built, not given. Goals are accomplished through building blocks that lead to your goal. So keep moving forward and trust the process.

Havent touched anything over 400lbs in 3 years and that was my last time competing and this was 7lbs over that weight.

I just planned on pulling 400 and was hoping for at least that but the environment, adrenaline, and the extra carbs consumed yesterday said to put that whopping extra 10lbs on the bar 😝

I will be booking a massage ASAP 😵‍💫

Even after years of coaching, you’re never too experienced to stop learning or trying new-to-you exercises. There’s a lot of variations and concoctions floating around and as someone who loves dabbling with variety, figured I’d start this series and show the raw and real side of trying something for the very first time.
