Take time out to appreciate the little things - my garden is my other sanctuary (my art studio is my first). Both are nurturing spaces.

Where do you feel nurtured?

Here is my first painting done with Avocado seed ink on paper. Kept it simple and just used charcoal and gesso and finished with white pen

Join me in the Arts and Wellness Cafe on my YouTube channel and think about how you use your creativity to nurture yourself and then others. Spend time to reflect on your journey and lessons that you will pick up on the way.

I also share some of the things (fabric art)I have been creating in the Studio.

I decided to turn the leather piece into a pendant and added beads and metal embellishments. Quite a statement piece for the wearer, will gave to consider matching leather earrings now 😊❤

Clay Embellishments - these are made out of clay and will be fired in my 'make shift' fire pit/old barbecue set. I would normally create them from air drying clay but wanted to try something different. I have some faces, beads, batons, discs and mini pots textured with stamps to be fired, the clay beads should look great with the textile wall hangings

Creativity, art, expression, sharing, documenting, capturing, making pretty stuff is a source of happiness...comfort... and overall good vibes for me. ❤️ i believe that creativity in any and all its different possibilities and forms is essential to wellbeing! It’s unique to each one of us! This is why i am so honored to be a part of “Pass the Brush” #passthebrushart ❤️ this week July 16/17 an amazing list of artists are teaming up, coming together to create, inspire, promote inclusivity and bias awareness in the art and craft community 🎨✂️📚💌 each of these individuals share a love for paper, paint, ink, stamps AND a desire to create change: “when things change inside you things change around you” ... i have been thankful for this call to action created by @dinawakley and @queenpreneur ... I’ll be turning my IG feed over to Alicia from @craftsofadifferentshade who is is a new and dear friend of mine... i invite you to follow along, support and encourage this movement! I’ll be linking and sharing ❤️ some of these maybe artists you already follow! Some will be new faces... I’m thankful and encouraged by the vulnerability and willingness from everyone involved.... ☺️ here just a few of the pairings. More to come! Don’t miss! 😍 #passthebrushart #cantwait #comingsoon
