“CMYKLEAN” SUASUTROSTYLES 750+pc hand cut and ground phine tread safe Porcelain, 30th & Sanchez St. S.F. CA. There was only one way to end the summer in the city, fabricating during August and hanging with my good man Hank. Installing during the last hottest days of the year in the city by the bay. Many thanks phor the opportunity to lay this work down, it means a lot on many levels given our phamilies history together and history and working artists/muralists… it all came phull circle around this piece.
He gave me the inspiration of the spiral design & eye Phollowed with playing with the colors of the phamily home along with the cardinal directions and earth tone boarder. Taking a moment to pay homage to the longtime indigenous peoples, the OHLONE phamily of tribes here in the San Francisco YELAMU bay🙏🏽 I’ve had much experience with this material, starting during project in Crocker Amazon Playground in 2004. Ofcourse, having the sidewalk slant lent its challenges but in the end it serves as a tribute to the lyfe in this special place and at that, as a working artist. It was a great honor and privilege to it it down pho ya Henry and Pham, madd luv and thank you phor the inspirational quote phrom my pops… “B Precise”.
May it be embraced by those who interact with it and live on in the minds and hearts of those who continue the circle ⭕️ till the next keep it lit and remain creative by all means🔥💫 #sfartist #sfbayarea #sfbayareaartist #californiaartist #theuniversalart #mosaic #mosaics #mosaico #streetstyle #streetsofsf #porcelain #ohlone #ohloneland #concretelife #tesselation #spiral #fourdirections #cmyk #keystone #mosaicos #porcelaintiles #daltile #grinding #precision #newart #collaboration #sfbay
