This closing was extra special—my buyer clients were introduced to me by Engel & Völkers Wellington advisor, Rebecca Leuck, and it was an absolute joy to guide her trusted clients through their move to Charleston.

A little self reflection as GDF 2025 comes to a close… It wasn’t the season I was hoping for, but maybe it was the season I needed? (Maybe could have done without the surgery on my finger…) To say the least I am grateful I got to take my own horse down centerline week 12 in his first ever PSGs. They weren’t the tests I was hoping for, but I could not be more proud of this horse. If you know Dante you know he can be a handful to say the least, but his attitude at global shocked me. He is finally the show horse I have been waiting for and I can’t wait for next year. We have a lot of homework to do this summer. As all of you know training horses is extremely difficult, but so rewarding. Even though we had a lot of mistakes in the canter tour the fact that he can do a clean change is good enough for me. I am incredibly grateful to have this horse in my life. He has not been easy, but he has taught me so much. I am so excited that I have been riding him since he was 4 years old and he is finally an FEI horse!

A huge thank you to all of the people in my corner I didn’t realize how many of you there are and I could not be more grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for pushing me to be better and to get into the arena. Thank you @austin12895 for coaching me and being my eyes on the ground. Love to love you. Thank you @mkkdressage for the incredible braids and the emotional support and @everrobak_dressage for helping me keep Dante beautiful (and more emotional support). I couldn’t have done it without you both. @rebeccacohendressage thank you for the surprise shoot with @laurenpitylak for my first PSG with Dante. I am so thankful to have these memories on films. You are the best!

Thankful to have my incredible Patrick saddle from @mastersaddlerkate and my gorgeous bridles from @dressagecollections and lets not forget my boots and bell boots from @dressagesportboots. Shoutout to @denirobootcousa for my favorite boots and @forhorsesusa for the clothing and incredible shadbelly that I finally got to wear.

I never thought I would be making this post so soon. This morning I lost my perfect baby girl. At only 6 years old Ayla has made the journey over the rainbow bridge. They say “only the good die young” and that must be true because she was the absolute best. I am completely shattered and heartbroken. I don’t know how to live a life without my pride and joy, my princess, my baby girl. Thank you Ayla for saving me. If it wasn’t for you I don’t know if I would be here to write this. I found you in one of the darkest times of my life when I needed a light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you for being my reason to get out of bed and push through to another day. You saved me and I couldn’t be more grateful to you. You were the BEST dog a boy could have hoped for. I miss you dearly and I just hope one day we meet again. I will miss your zoomies that always made me laugh. I will miss you sleeping on my head. I will miss everything about you my little shadow. I can’t see a world without you, but unfortunately I don’t have a choice. God needed another angel and he got the best one today. I love you more than you know my little girl. Thank you for being my child, my best friend, my whole entire life. A piece of my heart left with you this morning. I only hope that you’re at peace and running around up there with all of our loved ones that we have lost watching over me. Don’t ever forget how much I love you. My little soulmate thank you for making me the happiest boy when I never thought I could be. You are perfection my angel. I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS ❤️💔❤️💔
