WE’RE ALMOST SOLD OUT 🫶🏼

A whole month out from Fit Fest and we’re down to our LAST few doubles tickets. Honestly, we’re a little overwhelmed (in the best way).

Swipe through and you’ll see exactly why this event means so much to us: our incredible sponsors, our fit people, our not-so-fit people, our first-timers, our die-hards, our families and our cheer squads. A little Sunday recovery 🤍

Today I headed down to @recoveryprecinct at @thehive_gym to try their compression boots and cold plunge + sauna experience.

I absolutely love seeing what other local businesses are bringing to the wellness and recovery space — and getting to experience it for myself is even better.

As someone who spends a lot of time looking after other people, I’m also trying to get better at making time for my own recovery too.

Such a cool space, an amazing concept and definitely something I’ve been looking forward to trying.

144km later… recovery mode on 👌

🧊 Dip 💤 Sleep 💧 Rehydrate 🥩 Eat well ( 🍔🍫🤫) 🧘‍♂️ Mobilise 🚶‍♀️ Walk 🛀 Spa 🥵 Sauna and of course 🦵 Boots from @recoveryprecinct as soon as we get back to the Bay.

After 24 hours on feet 👣 at the Blue Lake 24hr Challenge, we were pretty tender and later on, had some swelling in our ankles 🤷🏽‍♀️

Three weeks ago I ran a 1:24:31 at Taupō.
Three weeks of niggles, setbacks, and not feeling 100%… but I kept showing up.

Today I went 2+ minutes faster.

Sometimes progress doesn’t look perfect. Sometimes it’s just backing yourself, trusting the work, and turning up when your body and mind aren’t at their best.

Proof that consistency beats perfection.

Mount Maunganui you were one hell of a day.
