Today, I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on for a long time. My new book, Learning and Living Revelation: In the End, You Win, is officially out! It walks through all 22 chapters of Revelation.

Few books of the Bible make Christians more nervous than Revelation.

Some of us grew up on charts, timelines, and end-times novels, and we left more anxious than hopeful. Others decided long ago that it was just too strange, and we’ve quietly skipped it ever since. Either way, the result is the same: the last book of the Bible stays closed.

That’s a tragedy. Because Revelation is the only book of the Bible that opens with a blessing for the one who reads it:

“Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.”
Revelation 1:3

I pray this book helps you see the amazing promises in the Bible’s last book.

What's always confused you about Revelation? Tell me below. 👇

Who are you asking God to save? What are you asking God to do in and through your church?

Those questions have stayed with us.

It can be easy to pray for what feels manageable, likely, or close at hand. But we pray to the God who parts seas, brings dry bones to life, opens prison doors, calls dead men out of their graves, and raised Jesus Christ from the dead.

So keep asking!

Ask Him to move in your church.
Ask Him to give you a deeper love for your city.
Ask Him to bring specific people to mind.
Ask Him to save.

There is nothing we are asking Him to do that is beyond His power.

May we be people who keep crying out to God and keep believing He is able to do more than we can imagine.

“I’ve been washed in the water, washed in the blood, i’m as good as new, oh hallelujah!”

Romans 6:4
“For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism.
And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.”

one week ago today I made the best decision I could have made and was baptized. Baptism is the washing of oneself, being washed in His love and mercy to be made new again! what a beautiful life I live and what a blessing it has been to be able to stand in front of my Father time and time again. Hallelujah!

Is God calling you to church planting?

In just a few weeks, we’re headed back to Norman for our fall vision trip!

This vision trip is designed to help you prayerfully discern whether God may be calling you to help plant a new church in the heart of Norman, reaching both the city and the campus of the University of Oklahoma.

On this trip, you’ll explore Norman and the greater OKC area, spend time with the team, hear the vision for the plant, and consider what it could look like for you to take steps towards joining the launch team!

If you want to learn more about how you can help plant Sowers Church, we’d love to have you join us!

🗓️ November 6-8 (Friday–Sunday)
📍 Norman, Oklahoma

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” —Luke 10:2

Tomorrow is launch day for The Way Church in Austin!

The Way is led by Mitchell Johnson, whose story with Redeemer began years ago as a Texas Tech student. After coming to know Jesus in college, Mitchell went on to serve and lead college ministry at Redeemer Lubbock before eventually being sent to Austin.

Now, years later, Mitchell, Hannah, and an incredible team are launching The Way Church in the heart of Austin with a simple mission: to help every person find their way back to God.

They’re praying to see the hope of Jesus carried into every high-rise, alleyway, dorm room, neighborhood, and relationship around them…and tomorrow marks a huge milestone in that work.

Would you pray with us for The Way tomorrow?

Pray that:
- people who are far from Jesus would hear and believe the gospel.
- Mitchell, Hannah, and their team would experience God’s strength, joy, and peace.
- their launch team would serve with unity and love.
- students and neighbors across Austin would find meaningful community and become lifelong followers of Jesus.
- God would raise up more laborers and, in time, multiply disciples, leaders, groups, and churches through The Way.

We love getting to celebrate churches being sent, established, and multiplied for the sake of the gospel.
