Three of the best core exercises you can do ➡️ ✅

1. Ab Wheel Rollouts
2. Reverse Hip Flexor Sit-ups
3. Hanging Posterior Tilt Tuckbacks

Adding these to your routine gives you a solid foundation with more time under tension through putting your abdominal muscles through loaded range of motion leading to better contractions and more development in your abs.

These movements also are easy to progress, challenge your whole body and create stability whilst carrying out movement.

Excellent bang for your buck when short on time 🕰️

AG-RO fitness is awarded Fitness Coach of the Year for London and South East region by @prestige_series 🎉

They said some nice things after going through an extensive judging panel 👇🏻

“The judges were impressed by the sheer growth exhibited by Aaron and AG-RO Fitness in the past year, who reached a significant milestone with their 1,500th therapy treatment delivered. Alongside plans for its first foray into a unique coaching method, the business has forged exclusive partnerships with Celtic SMR and HumanTecar©, making it one of a select few therapists capable of delivering such cutting-edge technology. Furthermore, AG-RO Fitness has dedicated time
to upgrading its social media strategy, enhancing awareness and knowledge through more educational content, while also embarking on a bigger drive with Redefining Fitness Education to provide accredited fitness training courses to the next generation of fitness professionals”

Do we go for a hat trick?

Ultimately this success falls to those that put their trust in me to help them and work with them as without, I wouldn’t have much to do would I? So thank you all for your supports and insights. 🙏🏻

Honestly these things p*ss me off! 🤬

There’s no science behind it to back up the ridiculous claims,it’s just marketing. ⚡️

Electric muscle stimulators (EMS) are often marketed as devices that can enhance muscle strength, promote muscle growth, and aid in recovery with minimal effort. However, they’re a gimmick at best!

1. Limited Evidence for Muscle Growth and Strength: The primary claim of EMS devices is that they can build muscle and increase strength. However, scientific evidence supporting significant muscle growth or strength increase is limited. Traditional strength training exercises are far more effective in stimulating muscle hypertrophy and strength gains because they engage multiple muscle groups and involve natural, functional movements.

2. Short-Term vs. Long-Term Benefits: While EMS may provide some short-term benefits such as muscle relaxation, temporary pain relief, and slight improvements in muscle tone, these effects are often not sustainable long-term. Without the progressive overload principle used in traditional strength training, the muscles do not receive the necessary stimulus to continue growing and strengthening over time.

3. Lack of Comprehensive Fitness Benefits: EMS targets specific muscle groups and does not provide the comprehensive fitness benefits that come from traditional exercise, such as cardiovascular health, improved coordination, flexibility, and overall functional fitness.

4. Placebo Effect: The perceived benefits of EMS may often be due to the placebo effect, where individuals experience improvements simply because they believe the device is working. This psychological effect can lead to temporary feelings of muscle activation or pain relief, but it does not equate to actual physiological changes in muscle mass or strength.

In conclusion, while EMS devices can have some utility in rehabilitation settings or for specific therapeutic purposes, their effectiveness as a primary tool for muscle growth, strength, and overall fitness is questionable. Traditional exercise methods remain the most reliable and effective way to achieve comprehensive fitness and health benefits.

Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) is that delightful sensation you feel 24-72 hours after a workout, reminding you of every squat, lunge, and burpee. 🥲

This phenomenon is your muscles’ way of saying, “Remember what we did? Yeah, we’re repairing and getting stronger.” While DOMS can make you walk like a penguin and grimace at every stair, it’s not a definitive measure of a successful workout. Soreness is simply your muscles adapting to stress, but effective training is about consistency, proper form, and gradual progression, not just the ache.

To counter DOMS, stay hydrated, incorporate a proper warm-up and cool-down routine, and consider gentle stretching or light activity like walking or yoga but nothing beats the benefits of a good night’s sleep and proper nutrition.

Remember, soreness is a side effect, not the goal. Effective training is marked by progress and consistency, not how sore you feel the next day. So, embrace the burn, but know that the true measure of your workout lies in your long-term gains, not the short-term aches. 🦾

I’m giving everyone a free warmup guide to those that message me the word “DOMS” 📲

Cannot hammer this down enough ⚒️

You can’t change the nature of your Iliotibial (IT) Band with a bit of foam and pressure!

Instead, you’ve gotta focus on the glute max and TFL muscles for real relief! 🦾

How to Foam Roll Your Glute Max:
1. Sit on the foam roller with it positioned under your glutes.
2. Cross your right leg over your left knee, forming a figure-four position.
3. Tilt slightly to the right to target the glute max, rolling back and forth from the base of your spine to the top of your thigh.
4. Spend 1-2 minutes, then switch to the left side and repeat.

How to Foam Roll Your TFL:
1. Lie on your side with the foam roller positioned just below your hip bone.
2. Extend your bottom leg straight out and bend your top leg, placing your foot on the floor for support.
3. Roll slowly from your hip bone down to where your pocket would end, focusing on the tender spots.
4. Spend 1-2 minutes on each side.
