It feels toxic to be doing this in 100 degree weather. But… IT IS TIME… for the spooky season desk transformation. I feel like I’m coming out of my little black shell 🖤👻 and I’m ready to journal in my grimoire 📖 🕷️ 🎃 who’s ready for Halloween season??!

October always calls for a reset. My desk gets a little darker, the candles burn lower, and the vibe shifts from everyday chaos to spooky desk decor I actually want to linger at. 🖤

This is where I’ll be journaling through fall — with a setup that feels more Morticia than colorful. Here’s to Halloween season, the best season of all.

😱😍. My friend @redeftdesigns posted this crystal moon jar and I immediately had to have it. She was gracious enough to tag it for me and it arrived 2 days later! It is so beautiful and I’m giddy about how cute it looks on my desk. Definitely check out her shop. And don’t forget to like and subscribe 💜 #deskdecor #handcraftedpottery

Exciting news! Soulmates Ceramics was chosen to be “Artist of the Month” with Kitchen Window Ceramics at AntFarm Cafe` and Bakery! Join us for a First Friday event at AntFarm tomorrow, September 3rd, between 5pm-7pm for a fun gallery night where you can both view the pots made by our awesome members, and meet many of the members themselves! Over a dozen of our members have contributed their works to this event. We’re very honored to have the opportunity to exhibit the pots that the members have put so much love into. You can view and purchase our pottery during the entire month of September at AntFarm Cafe and Bakery in Sandy, OR. All pottery purchases during the month of September will be going towards improving our space and equipment at the Soulmates studio! We hope to be able to offer more wheels for use, and a more comfortable environment this winter. Not all of the pottery displayed will be available for purchase, but it is most definitely worth viewing!
Because most of our art will be at this location, we will NOT have a booth at the Mount Hood Farmers Market for (at least) the first two weeks of September.

Note: This will be an indoor event, and masks will be required for all attendees. Thank you, and we really hope to see you there!

One of my students made this amazing Galaxy swirl bowl! Amanda is a tie dye artist, and I love how she incorporated elements of tie dye with glazing! Recently she's been sculpting animal figurines, and I can't wait to show them off when they're finished! Check out her website madebyhippies.com to shop her tie dye and resin artworks!
