SIM SATURDAY @redongyms @reecegiiles Yes aware add 3-4 mins for Rox zone! Shake off some cobwebs haven’t done a mixed doubles since May and wanted to beat my last Sim in April. Little bit faster and doing a lot more on stations 🚀 Good to try out some new strategies - I’ve actually never done that much station work for a mixed doubles till today 😂 and it ended up paying off and making a difference even if I was trying to keep up with Reece Good to get a little taste of the season ahead.

VELOZIA HONEST KIT REVIEW 🎥 I’ve been training in @veloziasportswear kit for the last six months, and with my first race of the season in Hamburg just two weeks away, I thought it was time to give you an honest review. Velozia are a brilliant local brand from the North West, based in Liverpool, and they’re supporting me this season. So, after delivering a pretty savage session today, I’ve properly put the kit to the test, especially the new Performance collection dropping this Wednesday. I started the session in the Velocity Empowered black shorts, with the Velocity vest underneath, and I also tested the new Performance T-shirt. Now, when it comes to HYROX training, sessions get hot, sweaty and pretty uncomfortable. The last thing I want is clothing that feels heavy, sticks to my skin or irritates me when I’m working hard. And honestly, that’s where this kit has really impressed me. Both the vest and the new Performance T-shirt feel really lightweight and breathable. Even during a high-intensity session like today, they didn’t feel sticky or uncomfortable, which is a massive plus for me. The shorts tick the boxes too. You’ve got plenty of freedom of movement, which is essential when you’re running, lunging and getting through those stations. And for me, the pockets are a big one. I need somewhere to stash my gels, and the zipped pocket at the back is a great added feature. So, overall, I’ve been genuinely impressed with the Velocity range and, in particular, this new performance collection. If you’ve got races coming up this month and you’re looking for some new training gear, the new collection drops this Wednesday. Big thank you to the Velozia team for the support this season. I’m looking forward to putting the kit through its paces over the next few weeks. See you in Hamburg! 🇩🇪 #velozia #hyroxathlete #hyroxproathlete #veloziasportswear #athletelife
