CAT 2 → CAT 1. Ready for more?

Getting faster is only part of the process.

The next step takes purposeful training, the right races, better race craft, strong teammates, and a development plan built around where you want to go.

South Side XC Devo is recruiting motivated junior racersfor our 2027 race team—especially Cat 2 athletes working toward Cat 1 and newly upgraded Cat 1 racers ready to pursue appropriate regional and national opportunities.

We aren't simply looking for the fastest riders.

We're looking for athletes who are ready to show up, learn, work, race as teammates, and earn the next opportunity.

Congratulations to Reed on an awesome **2nd-place podium finish on Day 2 of WORS racing!** 🥈🚵‍♂️

Reed put together a strong ride, battled all the way to the finish, and earned a well-deserved spot on the podium. It’s great to see the hard work, determination, and progress paying off.

**Way to go, Reed! Keep it rolling!** 💪🔥

🏆 **Podium finish for Reed!** 🏆

Huge congratulations to Reed on another awesome race—and a big thank you to his coach, @elimtb, for the guidance and support along the way!

@icc_challengexc gave Reed his **first upgrade points toward Cat 1**, and coming off that excitement, he’s been hungry for more. Today, he lined up at @wors_mtb **Treadfest** and earned even more points with another podium-worthy performance! 💪🚵

This success didn’t happen overnight. Reed stayed dedicated to his training all winter, pushed himself early this spring at @unbound and @usprocupfayetteville, and now all that hard work is showing with **multiple trips to the podium**.

Keep chasing it, Reed! 🔥

Wishing him the best of luck tomorrow at the **Border Battle**—go get it! 🏁

The most fun, but worst video of the Team Relay Challenge at the ICC Championship Weekend. Trying to do all the things and take video of all the fun was a challenge. Hopefully I captured at least a bit of the fun that was had by all. All @missourimtb coaches present said this should be a NICA event...maybe next year we can coordinate to do that. #teamrelaychallenge #besteventoftheweekend #joininthefun
