Well, back in May we started with 1 tank and 1 species of coral... now, four months later, 2 tanks and at least 4-5 different species! Bit by bit - we're building a coral research facility here!

Big plans are on the horizon - just need to (fingers crossed!) figure out how to make it all happen!

…the stingrays and sharks are nice, BUT the filtration system at @odysea.aquarium has me daydreaming on how big of a reef tank I would be able to keep IF I have that at home😅🤣😂😭😭😭😭

Part 1) I bought this watermelon chalice from a local reefer, and it was not doing well when I added it into my frag tank. Majority of the colony died off, but some of the coral survived. I fragged off the surviving coral, and glued some into my Red Sea 170 and some of it into a tile to see how well it recovers. I took this video on November the 23th of 2025 and I’ll keep an update on what happens to the chalice. #tobecontinued #ayzel1 #azfrag #livecoral #saltwater #frags #reefers #eatsleepreef #fishtank #corals #coraladdict #coraltank #reefaquarium #aquariumhobby #worldwidereefers #localreefers #reefingwithfriends #reefingcommunity #zoas #smallpolypstony #largepolypstony #coral #arizonareef #aquacultured #watermelonchalice

It’s been a while since I have shown the latest additions to the 10g and fragtank. Jaw breaker keeps on giving me babies!! I picked up a couple of bowerbankies and a favia from a local reefer🤔🤔if he is one hour away, is he still considered local🤔🤔.
At the @coralfarmersmar from the Cali Homies, I picked up a chalice from @vincent.tran.940 and from @aquavida365 aka Robert I got an Ultron Favia and purple trumpet (not show) and can you Gals&Guys believe that no one wants to pick up this chunky Favia of the Gods?!?🤦🏻‍♂️smh
