Wellness is not just about how you look physically.

It includes how you think, how you feel, how you work, who you surround yourself with, what keeps you grounded, and how you care for your body.

In this carousel, we are breaking down six important aspects of wellness:

Physical wellness
Intellectual wellness
Occupational wellness
Spiritual wellness
Social wellness
Emotional wellness

The goal is not to become perfect in every area overnight.
The goal is to become aware of where you are, identify where you need support, and begin making intentional changes one decision at a time.

Swipe through and ask yourself which area deserves more attention in your life right now.

Physical wellness is not only about exercise or appearance.

It is about creating a body that can support the life you are trying to build.

Movement, nutrition, hydration, sleep, and recovery all influence your energy, focus, confidence, and ability to manage stress.

You do not need to change everything at once.

Choose one healthy action you can repeat consistently.
Take a walk.
Drink more water.
Improve your sleep.
Prepare one balanced meal.

Small choices become habits, and habits eventually become your lifestyle.

Make Yourself A Priority.

Your mind needs movement too.

Intellectual wellness is developed when you remain curious, explore new perspectives, ask better questions, and continue learning.

You can strengthen it by reading, studying, listening, creating, solving problems, or having conversations that challenge the way you think.
You are not expected to know everything.

But you should remain willing to learn something.

A growing mind allows you to recognize opportunities that an unprepared mind may overlook.

What is one subject you want to understand better?

Make Yourself A Priority.

🍽️ If food is fuel… what are you fueling your body with?

You can work out every day, but what happens outside the gym matters too.

Good nutrition doesn’t mean never eating bread, pasta, fast food, or going out to eat.

You can eat almost anything — awareness is the key.

Start asking:

🥩 Where’s my protein?
🥦 Where’s my fiber?
🍠 Am I choosing nutrient-dense carbs?
🥑 Am I getting healthy fats?
💧 Am I drinking enough water?
👀 What do the serving size & Daily Values actually say?

The dose matters. Too much of almost anything can work against your goals.

And yes, you can still eat out.

In this video I used QDOBA, Chipotle & Culver’s as examples of quick options. At a sit-down restaurant the choices may change, but the principle doesn’t:

Prioritize protein + vegetables/fiber, choose your carbs intentionally, watch liquid calories & added sugar, and pay attention to portions.

One of the BEST things you can do?

Track what you eat. ⤵️

It feels like work at first — but tracking teaches you what’s actually in your food.

Eventually you recognize portions, understand your macros, know what keeps you full, and learn what actually serves your goals.

That’s when nutrition becomes less about “I can’t eat that” and more about:

“How does this fit into what my body needs today?”

🌱 Don’t just count calories. Make your calories count.

Getting 1% better every day doesn’t look loud or dramatic.
Brian Tracy talked about it.
Bob Proctor lived by it.
It’s the small adjustments that quietly change everything.

I’ve been shifting a lot in my own life lately—tightening my systems, reclaiming my time, and getting intentional about how I move.
And it’s wild how much space opens up when your life starts working with you in alignment with your goals instead of against you.

With that extra time, I’ve been experimenting with different resources, learning how to use them more effectively, and watching my creativity level up one small improvement at a time.

So I’m putting that energy into something new and fun: a short series sharing the most powerful lessons I’ve learned from personal development—taught in a fun, creative way.

There’s no set posting schedule yet… but stay tuned.
More is on the way.

I used to think building a better body meant doing MORE.

More workouts. More restrictions. More complicated diets.

Turns out, I needed to get better at the basics.

The photos in this post are about 5 years apart. There wasn’t one magical diet, workout, or moment that changed everything.

I learned. I experimented. I got things wrong. I adjusted. And most importantly — I stayed consistent.

What made the biggest difference?

🥩 Prioritizing protein — chicken, eggs, fish, Greek yogurt, lean meats, beans.

🥦 Eating more fiber-rich foods — vegetables, fruit, oats, potatoes, beans & whole grains.

🥑 Choosing better fats + carbs — avocado, nuts, olive oil, rice, potatoes, oats & fruit.

🍩 Limiting, not banning — soda, pastries, candy, chips & highly processed foods can still exist. They just don’t need to become the foundation of my diet.

🏋🏽‍♂️ Training consistently — good technique mastering the basics and actually giving my body time to adapt.

😴 Recovering — sleep, hydration and rest matter too. (Sleep is still a challenge at times, given a busy lifestyle.)

None of this is revolutionary.

That’s the point.

You don’t necessarily need another fitness hack. You may just need to consistently apply what you already know.

And I’m still learning, still improving, and still growing. 🌱

Your turn: What’s the ONE thing you know you need to improve right now?

A) Training 🏋🏽‍♂️
B) Nutrition 🥗
C) Protein 🥩
D) Recovery 😴
E) Consistency 🎯

The older I get, the less birthdays feel like a celebration of age—and the more they feel like a reminder of just how many lives have touched mine.

Another year gives you a reason to look back.

At the friends who showed up.
The love and support of family.
The people who gave me something you can never get back: **their time.**

Whether that was time spent talking, laughing, working, training together in class, creating memories, sharing advice—or simply being present.

I think about the people who reached out.
The ones who celebrated with me.
The people who supported me, challenged me, encouraged me, taught me something, or crossed my path at exactly the right moment.

Some stayed for years.
Some were only part of a chapter.
Some may never even realize the impact they had.

And somewhere along the way, I hope I’ve been able to leave that kind of impact on a few people too.

I’m incredibly grateful our paths crossed.

For the people.
For the memories.
For the lessons.
For another year. 🥂

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”

And I think there’s a lot of truth in that.

We spend so much time thinking about what’s next—
the next goal, the next milestone, the next version of ourselves—

that sometimes we forget to appreciate the people, moments, and experiences that helped us become who we are right now.

So instead of making this post only about my birthday, I want to give you an opportunity to stop and look around too:

**Who is one person you’re grateful crossed your path?**

Or—

**What’s one memory or lesson from this past year that you never want to forget?**

Tell me in the comments. 👇🏽
You never know who might need the reminder to appreciate it too.

Some of the best growth this past year didn’t happen alone—it happened in rooms full of people who pushed me to keep getting better.

To my fellow instructors: thank you.

Thank you for coming to my classes, supporting what I’m building, bringing your own energy into the room, and giving me the chance to learn from you when I stepped into yours.

Isn’t it ironic how when we try to make life easier, we often make it harder?

Skipping the workout feels easy…
Until your energy drops.
Until your health declines.
Until discipline gets replaced by regret.

“It’s not about the number of hours you practice, it’s about the number of hours your mind is present during the practice.”
— Kobe Bryant

Today wasn’t about convenience.
It was about presence.
It was about discipline.
It was about growth.

You chose growth today.

This trip didn’t start with a plan.
It started with a decision.

I asked my business partner where I should go, didn’t question it, didn’t hesitate — I just moved. Eight hours later, I was walking Broadway in Nashville. The next morning, I wanted space, so I drove to the Smoky Mountains.

Napoleon Hill said most people never truly decide — they drift. This weekend reminded me how much clarity shows up once you stop waiting for certainty and start trusting yourself.

The environment helped — but it didn’t choose for me. I chose first. The movement didn’t create the belief. It revealed it. Changing locations doesn’t change your life unless you’ve already decided who you’re becoming.

Victor Frankl taught that freedom comes with responsibility. I built the life. I carried the weight. For a long time, the only thing holding me back wasn’t opportunity — it was my own thinking.

You already have what you need. The skills. The tools. The capacity. What matters is being willing to bet on yourself before everything feels “perfect.”

Clarity doesn’t come before action.
It meets you along the way.

Most growth isn’t loud.
It’s subtle.
It’s choosing to show up for yourself when no one’s watching.

Moving with intention.
Breathing with control.
Becoming a little better than yesterday.

Here’s what that actually looks like in real life.

It’s not waiting for motivation.
It’s deciding who you’re becoming, then acting in alignment with that.

It’s doing the small things consistently
even when they don’t get noticed,
even when progress feels slow.

It’s training your body, your mind, and your discipline
the same way — with patience and presence.

If you’re trying to grow, don’t chase a breakthrough.
Build a practice.

That’s how things compound.
That’s how confidence is built.

That’s how you Make Yourself A Priority.

Always Growing 🌱
