Our students work with R E A L tools (thanks @homedepotcanada!) — here that meant learning to use a screwdriver properly. With patience, focus and a little bit of struggle.

Because something shifts in a child the moment they realize they can fix something themselves. 💪🔨

An evening of lantern light, autumn air, story, song and community. 🏮🍂

Join us for the Tiny Oaks Lantern Walk at Pond Side Acres on Friday, October 23rd (TOTTENHAM)

We’ll begin the evening with warm apple cider before gathering for a seasonal puppet story. As dusk settles, we’ll light our lanterns, sing together and make our way along the glowing trail — surrounded by nature, carved pumpkins and little lights.

We’ll end our walk gathered around the fire with a warm cup of soup. 🔥🤎

🎃 We’re also having a Pumpkin Carving Contest!
Carve your pumpkin at home and bring it with you. We’ll place the pumpkins throughout the trail for everyone to enjoy during the walk.

The winner will receive a FREE half-day at Tiny Oaks Forest School + a beeswax taper candle.

Turn ON the sound. You’ll want to hear this one. 🎧⬆️

Every elementary student gets time every single day to pursue something they’re interested in. Not what we choose. What they choose.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s the process — learning to stick with something, work through the hard parts, celebrate the wins, and set the next goal. 💪🧠

And the results? Principal Mr. Simon explains it better than we ever could. 📣

Parents let’s hear from you… did your elementary school provide you with opportunities like this? ⬇️

This is what learning looks like at The Village.

Not one lesson, one outcome, or one path.

On any given day, there are dozens of ideas unfolding alongside one another. A question becomes an experiment and a creation becomes a collaboration.

Something noticed in the forest gets carried back to the table or an idea from last week resurfaces in an entirely new way.

Our work is not to decide where each of those threads should lead.

It’s to notice them and to stay curious about them.

In our spaces we offer time, space, materials, connection…and sometimes we must simply get out of the way.

Because when we say we follow the child, we don’t mean that learning is left to chance.

We mean we trust that children are already in relationship with the world around them and that there is so much worth noticing when we make room for that relationship to unfold.

Living is learning.

And around here, it’s happening everywhere.

September brought the beautiful rhythm of settling in, reconnecting and welcoming another year together.

We cared for our schoolhouse and the land around us. Our days filled with harvesting from the vegetable garden and preparing seasonal recipes.

There was plenty of time for nature exploration, games, music, movement and skill building, along with hands-on projects that invited problem solving, cooperation and a whole lot of imagination.

A month full of connection, curiosity, creativity, and community! 🍂✨

Thank you to each and every family for being a part of our growing village.

If you’ve been feeling the call to create your own music… this is for you

Music from the Heart and for the Heart.

I’ve been DJing for more than 20 years. On festival stages, in ecstatic dances and sound journeys, I bring together beats, voice and live instruments… exploring musical shapes through our emotions and the energy of everyone present.

Now I want to share that experience with you

Maybe you want to mix your favourite tracks, create medicine music, layer your voice and instruments in Ableton, or simply explore the sounds living inside you.

This is where we begin.

Remember Your Sound is a private journey into DJing and music production. Five sessions, two hours each, with practice and guidance shaped around what YOU want to create.

Beginners are welcome. We start where you are, with room to play, experiment and find your own expression.

My vision is to create a humanity of artists. And you are part of that.

📍 Algarve or online
🌍 English, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Spanish & Romanian
✨ Family options available

Come as you are. Let’s create something beautiful.

DM me “CREATE” and tell me what you would love to explore. I’ll send you the details and we’ll find your starting point.
