🤝Older People's Service Provider Forum - Woodhatch Community Centre

This afternoon, we welcomed our amazing team of providers to Woodhatch Community Centre for our Older People's Service Provider Forum.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, network and share the great work taking place across our services to support older people in our community, with a particular focus on safeguarding.

A big thank you to everyone who attended, shared their experiences and contributed to such valuable discussions, and a special thank you to the Mayor of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead for joining us and supporting this important event.

By working collaboratively, we can continue to make a positive difference to the lives of older people in our community.

Back in September, we did a very special series of house gigs for Redhill Arts Takeover.

We were blessed with some truly spectacular performances over the course of the week, including a very special guest, @blurofficial‘s @davidrowntree and an acoustic set from @ech03cho’s @theowinkley

The house gigs was where we very first started, so it felt special to revisit them again. Who wants some more? And who would be your dream artist to play?

Thanks @caveyslife for the 🎥

Earlswood's free little libraries are located at:

📍Ifold Road Park in Earlswood
📍 Earlswood Lakes
📍 Whitebushes Playground (technically not Earlswood, but spitting distance and a fantastic playground)

A wonderful collaboration between the Men in Sheds at @furnistore_in_east_surrey, Reigate & Banstead's Greenspaces team and local artists who painted them. ✨️And a shining example of what happens when a community collaborates.

We came to Run Reigate to run… and ended up bringing a little Bollywood to Reigate too.

Such a brilliant day of running, dancing, community and plenty of smiles.

Huge love to our SparkBeat adults and SparkBeat Stars who took to the stage with us… and to everyone who stopped, watched, cheered and danced along.

🎨 ARTS IN THE PARK 🎨

Today I had the pleasure of teaching a mini dance workshop at Lady Neville Recreation Ground as part of Arts in the Park, organised by @reigatebanstead

The focus of the day was wellbeing, creativity, and bringing people together through the arts.

I was first up and, if I’m honest, I initially had three of my lovely Bloomers there to keep me company. Then, five minutes before we kicked off, I spotted @langster64 working her magic like the Pied Piper, bringing in people from around the park — little ones included!

We spent time moving and sharing plenty of smiles. It was a reminder of how fabulous dance can be in lifting spirits and connecting people.

I feel like my mission to boost a few endorphins today was accomplished.

A huge congratulations and thank you to all the organisers, especially Lynda at @phillodance, who invited me to be involved and taught four workshops herself. What a fantastic community event!
