✨The Sweetest Fiend✨ It is publication day for this INCREDIBLE forced proximity dark romantasy that is loosely inspired by The Pied Piper. If that alone doesn’t sell you on the book it is also Captor/Captive romance with “who hurt you” mini trope🥰 Thank you @avonbooks @ravenkennedybooks for sending me this gorgeous book and allowing me to cosplay it in a budget friendly way. I am currently DEVOURING it and losing sleep but I will say thank you as this book is SOOO worth it. The book starts off at a full sprint, the world has cracked open, power is bursting through, and nine monsters have come ready to destroy anything and everything. After they are defeated by the fae, they leave behind a Plague to punish everyone but that’s not the only thing they left behind. Please run and pick up this STUNNING book, I honestly think it is the perfect book for fall with incredible world building, angst and spice that has even made me blush in public. Go, RUN to the bookstore and meet this incredible hot Pied Piper…seriously…it’s ridiculous how hot he is.

😅I am in the middle of a breakup with planned TBRs😅 I got pretty overwhelmed after posting my fall TBR. I was setting extremely high expectations for myself to read things that I picked rather than books I wanted to be reading. It got to the point where I was putting myself into a reading slump and I needed to take a step back and realize ITS READING! IT’S NOT THAT SERIOUS! I put such high expectations on myself so read books quickly and talk about them instead of reading what I actually want to read. I started this profile to talk about what I was reading and join a community that is just as enthusiastic about books as I am! So, in an attempt to bring joy back into my reading and to take it easy on myself, I will be breaking up with planned tbrs for the rest of the year and just reading what I’m in the mood to read. It could be a book that is out already, a book that comes out next year, or a book that comes out in the month, WHO KNOWS! The point is to read books I enjoy. There are too many books in this world to spend time struggling to read books that I am not enjoying in the moment. So here’s to the best breakup I’ve ever had😉

☀️My July TBR☀️ PLOT TWIST…I’M NOT DOING ONE🤗 There are many reasons as to why I decided not to plan out a tbr this month, I’m tired of my mood readerliness getting in the way of me reading books that I said I was going to, I’m putting a lot of pressure on myself to read books I don’t want to be reading, I’m losing joy. Honestly the list goes on and on. I decided to say goodbye to a planned tbr for one month and see if my reading numbers go up or not. I’m honestly overwhelmed with the expectations I have been putting on myself to get books read I think you all will enjoy hearing about rather than prioritizing what I actually want to be reading. So for one month, I will be picking random books off my shelf to read. They could be ARCs, they could be finished copies, I could even just read a library book. This is about me putting what I want to read first and hopefully 😅 you all will enjoy this wild and slightly unpredictable ride with me. I will be updating you all on what I read next so stay tuned and thank you for joining the chaos that is my page and my brain. I’m happy to have you here🫶🏻
