Spent last week kicking off the start of the @lbjwcs at the capitol around my amazing class of women inspiring change in the political realm. I was fortunate enough to speak with Secretary of State @senjanenelson who is namely behind the scholarship I received to be attending this program, about what is next from me with Austin, Houston, and Space Policy as well as insight from many political operatives seeing what exactly we can do to best help our communities! Public service has always been a commitment of mine and to be around women who feel the same way makes me know we always belong in the room. 🤘🏻🩷🧡

From being brothers to becoming alumni, this chapter will always be home to our 43 graduating seniors. We are so proud of everything you’ve done and even more excited for what’s ahead. Once a brother, always a brother. 🎓💙

And just like that … I told Rei she went to way too few universities over way too few years but kids these days just don’t listen to their elders and she insisted on kicking all the ass and doing all the things in amazing time. Fine … I guess …. We are all super proud of you, Goofus! Your path has truly been YOUR path, and will continue to be so. You will make plans. Some will come to fruition. Some will go all kinds of sideways. But new paths will emerge, and the gusto for which you have chased, and achieved, the goals you have put in front of you will continue to provide those opportunities for growth and success! What’s past is prologue - you have become this amazing woman you are for all of the stories and experiences up until now, and that future, while blurry, is so full of hope and joy! So while we can pause and regale you for the accomplishments to date this weekend, also let us away to untold adventures to come! Love, Teej (we know Dad is long behind us … Stonewall and Betty know too … 🤣). SKOBUFFS!!!!
