19 months later, I’M BACK🥹🥹🥹 Yesterday I competed in my first competition back in over a year and a half, an English Championship Qualifier. This being a moment I have been waiting for constantly throughout my rehab journey. I went into the competition with no expectations and no result focus, just with one goal only which was to enjoy the competition and take it all in again, and I definitely did that😅I managed to place first in the 17-21 category which felt like a massive bonus and was a credit to all the hard work I have been putting in behind the scenes🥇 This year is all about being back out there, improving myself mentally and physically, and being grateful I have the opportunity to compete at this level again. The competition was definitely a struggle, however when I finished my routines, it made everything worth it. Overcoming two surgeries, countless appointments, and most importantly the mental toll this injury has had on me and will continue to do so. I would like to give a massive thank you to my teammates, friends, and family for the endless support! My psychologist, Chelsea, thank you for always checking in and being there with me today to help manage my mental state, to my physios @laurathesportsphysio , Jacob, and @rejuven8physio , thank you for the constant guidance in my recovery and keeping me on track. @ben_young_coach your programmes have been a massive help for me in order to reach targets in the gym and be as strong as possible with my return to Trampoline. @brian_camp_consulting thank you for your patience with me whilst I manage my training every week, I appreciate it so much! And finally thank you to myself for always staying positive and trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we did it🤍 Yesterday I competed for the 19 year old boy in Portugal 19 months ago, who didn’t know if he would step back onto the trampoline to compete again💌

Woahhh check me out 😝 It’s been a little over 2 years since I last competed all-around — safe to say I enjoyed being back out there today. I struggle to train on the best of days, and the build-up to this weekend definitely wasn’t easy with a bulging disc in my back. Nevertheless, I knew I had to go out there and compete today, and I’m really happy with both my performance and attitude 💪🏽 We go again on Sunday 🤞🏽 Thankyou @luke_folwell7 and @rejuven8physio for getting me through the lows off this build up 🤝🏽 Thankyou to @leon_munce for taking me round today 💯

After returning to competition last week after 5 months of rehab to get back from knee surgery, I had to get another MRI scan after struggling with pain for the past couple of weeks! Frustratingly the scan has shown some knee degenerative changes and a bone bruise in my Tibial Plateau! Thankfully I’ve caught it early so no fracture but looks like I’m heading back into rehab, £100 if anyone knows what number rehab this is?! ☠️ Honestly can’t make it up! 😂 Grateful for the amazing team of people I have behind me though ❤️ #trampoline #gymnastics #injured #rehab #strugglebus

❤️‍🩹 Proud moment for Alicia this week! After badly injuring her feet last August in Denmark and spending 7+ months with absolute uncertainty about when, or if … she could ever do a snap down again! This week marks one of the most special milestones in Alicia’s rehab journey 🤩 WE HAVE A SNAP DOWN!!!!! 😭 💕💕 The first ones since forever, without worry, without pain … instead, with new trust & confidence as you regain your wings 🪽 The commitment to rehab, the rollercoaster emotions that come with being “grounded”, having to forfeit her well earned spot on the 2025 senior worlds team & not be ready in time for Europeans has been brutal and nothing but cruel to somebody who’s devoted their entire childhood and younger years to be able to do just that! 💔 We’re proud of you Alicia, the example you’re setting to your peers, the younger generations … but most importantly, to yourself, that your perseverance and resilience is 💯 paying off 💪 📈 Lici will present to the judges this weekend, for the first time since July 2025 … not for medals, not for selections - but for SELF WORTH and in celebration of the tough time she’s had over the last half a year. ✨ Welcome back girl! 💅🏼 Thank you so much to @rejuven8physio … absolute credit to helping her realise who she still is 🥹 #revolutiontumblers #tumbling #injurycomeback #sportrehab #womeninspiringwomen

CWG Trials ‘26🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 . A journey 4 years ago I would’ve never believed would happen. A journey of highs and lots of lows. But a journey that has taken me to this point and shown myself the real character I have❤️ lots of times where giving up was an option in my mind but due to everyone around me was never explored. It’s been a mental battle and I am now proud of what I have given . A huge thank you to @luke_folwell7 for dealing with the very low Dan that not I haven’t seen in a very long time and for making me believe in myself again for the last trial. Thank you to all the boys in the gym pushing me in the gym❤️you aren’t just teammates but brothers❤️ Let’s see what happens next❤️
