The Definition of Determination and Resilience 💪🏃‍♂️ @run_fitness_kev In July 2024, Kevin faced a setback when he suffered ligament and tendon damage that took him out of action for six months. But instead of letting the injury slow him down, Kevin turned it into an opportunity to build himself back stronger. While recovering, Kevin didn’t stop training ! His mindset was unstoppable. From day one, he adapted his routine, hitting the bike and covering distances between 20K and 100K. That’s consistency and drive at its finest! Kevin is no stranger to pushing his limits. He’s already completed an impressive 6 marathons, and even during his recovery, he kept his eyes on the bigger picture. Over the past 4 months, Kevin has been working with Jacob @release.therapy putting in the hard work to rebuild strength and get ready for his next challenge. A fan of Rachel’s and Lee’s Back Fit classes, Kevin has used every resource available to stay active, focused, and motivated. Now, his sights are set on Hyrox in March, and he’s gearing up to be stronger than ever. Kevin, your resilience inspires us , proof that setbacks are just set-ups for comebacks. Keeping fit and ready to go for his next big challenge! 👏 Kevin, Keep smashing those goals! #MemberSpotlight #Determination #HyroxTraining #FitnessJourney #NoExcuses

Stay active and perform your best! 🌟 Sports massages are an essential part of an athlete’s recovery and performance enhancement. 🏋️‍♂️🤾‍♀️🏃‍♂️ They help release muscle tension, improve flexibility, and promote faster healing by increasing blood flow to affected areas. 👐Regular sports massages can also prevent injuries by addressing muscle imbalances and overuse issues. Whether you’re a professional athlete or just active, incorporating sports massages into your routine can optimize your physical well-being and keep you performing at your best.⚡️💪 Contact @release.therapy to book an appointment 🗓️

What a difference a week makes! This time last week I could barely move. An untreated injury in my shoulder resulted in trap strain and a frozen neck. Not only was it super painful but with my competition only a few weeks away I was concerned about the impact. Thanks to lots of physio with @release.therapy , yoga with @mindandwellnessuk and stretching I’ve been able to get back to my training programme. We’ve made some adjustments to avoid further injury and I’ve also been more disciplined about rest. Something I find quite difficult. It’s so important to care for your body, not only when participating in a heightened level of fitness but every single day. Head over to my stories to see some of the stretch videos that have helped me get back in the game.
