What a day for this crazy fun couple. We laughed through the entire first meeting, then the engagement session so I had no doubt we would have the best time at their wedding and it did not disappoint. I love that I was able to capture the start of this next chapter of their life together.

September has us ready for a change in season.

Rich jewel tones, warm candlelight, lush greenery, and a menu made for gathering brought the perfect hint of fall to this Field Museum wedding.

Proof that the transition into autumn might just be one of our favorite times to celebrate.

KATE + JOEY 8.29.26 !!!

Listen…. I have been trying to put this post together for DAYS and have been struggling so hard because I have so many favorites, I love Kate, Joey, + their people SO MUCH, and I have so much to say about this day!!!!!

Kate + Joey are one of those couples that I just knew I was meant to work with. I happened to meet them last year at University Club before I started photographing a wedding there that day while they were doing a walkthrough. It was our first time photographing at the venue so we showed up super early to check it out. THANK GOODNESS we did because I got to meet them and give them my business card.

There is no other word to describe this day other than JOY. Kate was constantly jumping up and down because she was so excited and her and Joey were just cheesin away all day. They also had one of the most epic/romantic first dance we have ever seen!!!

UGH TOO MUCH TO SAYYYYY!!!!! Post 2 coming soon!!!
