Give me a YES if you feel like self care is definitely a buzz word you see everywhere. ✨I actually think it’s a good thing! 💜 Especially because social distancing + being at home CAN give us the space to practice it.

We so often make it a last priority even though we know it should be first. I know as an entrepreneurs to produce my best work + rock it at being a mom stepping back is SOOO important.

Last night, I was chatting with my mom on how she remembered being a mom + the importance of self care but feeling so tired and unable to carve time in her life. She was a nurse + helped my dad run his photography business + plus raised 4 kids. The age gap between my oldest brother and myself is 5 years and 2 months!!!. Talk about a mom and dad needing time for self care!!! I thought two kids under 2.5 was a marathon. My parents climbed Everest!
She talked about how she new she needed time for herself but she felt like in that season of her life there was no time. I’ve heard myself express those thoughts multiple times!..just this week even. Her same thoughts echoing to 35 years later.

Our conversation reminded me to not get so down on myself for struggling with the lack of time. To remember that 10 minutes of self care is perfect. That it varies in style from one person to the next. But it also emphasized that If we don’t have daily habits to create space for it it’s easy to not make it happen at all. .
A busy mom of. 2 and a biz..My self care routine is NOT: -soaking in a hot bath for an hour, going to the spa or getting a message. Don’t get me wrong I love all of those things please throw in a facial.
.
Here are MY TOP 8 self care rituals that help me feel like an epic business woman and present mom:
1-Read for 10 minute ideally 30 min).
2-Go for an early morning or midday walk.
3-When the kids fall asleep drink a cup of tea outside with a cosy blanket before checking your phone.
4-Prep healthy snacks so that you can feed your body essential vitamines Instead of reaching for the fish crackers
5-Do a 10 min meditation.
6-Do a 15 min of yoga
7-Wash your face
8-get dressed

Big announcement for our little family. My husband has landed a new job, his dream job really and I’m putting a transfer request so that we can make our way to Témiscaming Québec.
.
We are so excited about this new adventure! Especially thrilled that we will be closer to my parents as well as being able to take advantage of the reduced daycare fees. .
Did you know we may 100$ a day for francophone daycare in London and in Quebec we will pay 16$ a day! Imagine the possibilities!!
.
Love that Québec invests so much on children and young families. .
We both have great jobs in London Ontario but the daycare fees is set up to be so difficult for young families. (Having à french daycare is a must for us as these are the crucial years for our kids and we absolutely want them to thrive in their first language). Love that we have options and are able to chose the road to abundance.
.
Also love that I have an internet business therefore can pick up and go without loosing my client base. Always here for you! Xo
.
So looking forward to going to joanie’s gym and checking out the cultural programming at la gare!! #jaimequebec #temiscaming #temiscamingqc #labelleprovince #teamrockburnouellette #century21elite #vincentlabranche #flexiblebusinessopportunity #grandparentslove

Just spreading the joy and fun facts!
The word "dandelion" comes from the French dent de lion, "lion's tooth," referring to the jagged, toothlike leaves.
Settlers ate the leaves like lettuce, and roasted and ground the roots for a coffee-like drink. People have used dandelion tonic as a cure-all. The health benefits of dandelions are perhaps as overlooked as the plant itself. They are an excellent source of many vitamins and minerals and have twice as much vitamin A in one serving as most vitamin pills.
Enjoy every moment that you are blessed to have. It shows that life is both tenacious and delicate and we only have one chance to make the most of it. So grateful to share this life with you! Seeds of love🌺
