I went searching for ghosts around Reno City Hall, but it turns out the scariest thing lurking around was ME… Lam-BOO! 👻🐾

Stay safe out there this Halloween season, boos and ghouls! 🎃🍬

And keep your eyes peeled for a special appearance by my fellow four-legged friend, City of Reno’s @libertydogsusa USA, Reno! 🐶

Cats in trees get all the attention. What about skunks in storm drains? 🦨 🎥@renofiredept

Engine 11 helped a skunk out of a tight spot, bringing this rescue to a happy, odor-free ending!

No injuries, no smells. Just a rescue everyone could breathe easy about.

Nicely done, Engine 11!

The Bull Fire marks the sixth major wildfire in the Reno–Verdi area this season.

At its peak, the response included 500+ firefighters and personnel, 13 aircraft, and 50+ engines, crews and dozers.

Sadly, once again, this fire was determined to be human-caused.

This part of the planet desperately needs some serious moisture. It also needs more awareness and personal responsibility from people who continue to underestimate just how dry and fire-prone this landscape is.
