Deep Fried Tacos?! Say. No. MORE! 🌮🧀🥑🔥 @MadrinaVeganaKC popped up in the Crossroads, and it’s a bucket list-must for foodies who LOVE Mexican food!! The menu says “Born in KC. Made in NYC.” The owner took her plant-based Mexican spot to New York, and now she’s back home serving it from a walk-up window in the heart of the Crossroads (1881 B Main St) 🇲🇽🌽🌸🗽 What we tried: 🌮 Barbacoa tacos 🔥 Crispy tacos w. plant based beef + nut free coconut queso 🥟 Empanada with dipping sauce 🌺 Agua fresca If you think you’d miss the meat or dairy, trust me, you won’t; this is incredible for vegans and equally incredible for those who have never ventured into knowing firsthand just how delicious plant-based food can be!! 🥩 Meat-eaters, be honest: would you try a vegan taco if it meant admitting you love it AND eating al fresco in our amazing arts district?! 🌆
