April was Financial Literacy Month and Stress Awareness Month, and after attending last week’s @womenontheriseinc meeting, the alignment felt intentional.

From confidence to clarity to navigating pressure, each speaker spoke to a different layer of what it means to show up fully as a woman balancing life, work, and responsibility.

We heard from @fivestarfrienships, @maishathemotivator, @reshellsmith, and @theangelamariewilliams, all doing impactful work across different spaces.

Here’s a few takeaways that stuck with me:

1️⃣ How you dress is how you are addressed.
As a fashionista and introvert, I often lead with my style. I believe when you look good, you feel good—and that confidence shows up before you even say a word. People feel it, and they’re drawn to it.

2️⃣ Financial stress is often a clarity problem.
We’re in the middle of one of the largest wealth transfers in history, and women are at the center of it. Yet nearly 60% of Americans feel stressed about their finances.
If you can’t clearly explain your money strategy, there’s a gap.
Clarity creates control.
Control builds confidence.

3️⃣ You can’t lead well if you’re constantly in survival mode.
High-achieving women carry a lot. Pressure, expectations, responsibility.
But one concept that stuck with me was the tactical pause.
Pause. Breathe. Regulate. Then decide.
Moving from reactive to proactive starts with slowing down.

4️⃣ The right rooms impact how you show up.
Support impacts how your brain and body process pressure. Safe rooms expand what’s possible.

And that’s exactly what Women on the Rise continues to create. Spaces where women can show up fully, be poured into, and leave with tools to navigate life with more clarity and intention.

“I just want the D…” 😉💸

But baby, this season my D stands for:
Dinero.
Discipline.
Discernment.
Divine alignment.

Because I’m not chasing money from lack anymore. I’m building wealth con Dios, wisdom, and a whole lot of sazón.

At this month’s @womenontheriseinc meeting, Deeva @reshellsmith had me all up in my finance business, and BABY!! I needed that. 💅🏽📖

And now here I am, holding her book in my hands not just reading it, but receiving it. 🙌🏽

Because let’s be real, Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result. ¡So ya no más!

I’m releasing money trauma from divorce, foreclosure, homelessness, liens, and financial abuse.

Because none of that defined me, it refined me.

Mi Dios is faithful, I AM blessed. My womb is blessed and ABUNDANCE is my birthright.

I’m choosing different, moving different, and building different. Because I AM the change-maker, la luz transformadora.
